While money is important, there are other qualities that makes a marriage work well. I fail to see the correlation between her stand and your grouse. It is what she wants. If some other lady is okay with such men, her choice.

When you have daughters, you can advise them to marry men who SOLELY offer money. No fidelity, no communication, no fatherly guidance, no emotional support...etc. Then your stance would make more sense. Don't you think so? 🙂

I don't fully doubt that such crimes like this exist because during the President Buhari era, I read online and here on NL that such things are going on between the Rivers State and Abia State borders. Abia State was fingered as the origin of the criminals who kidnapped people and killed those whose families could not pay the ransom monies. A female survivor narrated the killing of kidnapped victims (for rituals and supposed body parts sales) in her presence after her family paid for her release.
