The native doctor laid a trap for the man. He must have assured the man that all he has to do is bring a life young boy and the rituals will be done. Good native doctor. We need more like this that don't go black.

God delivered the innocent boy. Had he gone to another Native Doctor the story would have been different.
This Native Doctor deserves commendation. We need more of his kind

And after rehearsing the reading I'll be proclaiming tomorrow in church, I saw this.
And the reading was the book of Genesis, after the flood.

... And when the Lord smelled the pleasing odour, the Lord said in his heart, "I will never again curse the ground because of man, FOR THE IMAGINATION OF MAN'S HEART IS EVIL FROM HIS YOUTH."

God have mercy.

OneOnland:
Most herbalists say human sacrifice are not exactly needed for the supposed money rituals, but the devils behind it ask for humans because the devils want the desperate ritualistic to actually murder another person, wants them to commit evil and become condemned for it.

There's a great chance the babalawo in this case included "bring a child to kill" specifically to fish out the 23-year old's evil and desperation, and expose him.
Asking for a child as bait is a crime on its own.
The young champs head was too strong for them hence he clearly flipped the narrative!

How did the ritualist know it was a child that was needed? Why not his mother or a goat?
Something's don't add up in the whole narrative and it's also extremely wrong that Nigerians are praising a native doctor for a half baked story

I'm not justifying or defending or being exactly pro the herbalist, but there's a great chance that the herbalist 'know' that for the ritual he requested, the death of a child is the price. And further, he might had seen that should he reject the 23-yr old's wishes, he'd go to another herbalist who may be so malicious and actually carry out the said ritual.

--- Some actually, rather than rejecting "lie" to the divinee that their supposed wealth is coming, should be very patient and so many tricks like that to prevent them from seeking other herbalists, one of whom may let them dead somebody. ---

So, the herbalist might had tricked him, wanted him not to go another herbalist, and then fished him out rather than letting him roam away free and seek desperately other herbalists who may be willing to assist him to meet the demands of devils behind the money rituals.

There are different types of herbalists, by the way. Maybe he had met with a normal Ifa priest or a decent adahunse.

I fear yoruba land more than zambisa oo. All these people are ritualists. They are the worst people on earth. They slaughter human beings, cut the heads, the tongues, pluck eyes, cut the vaginas, penis, remove hands, removes kidneys. Livers, hearts. They sell to money ritualists and politicians. The worst barbarians remaining on the planet earth
Re: Man Took His 6-Year-Old Nephew To Ekiti Herbalist For Money Ritual by delpee(f): 7:27pm On Feb 22, 2025
Ifa priests say there's nothing like money ritual. It's all 419. The Babalawo deceived him so he can be caught. Otherwise, he'll go to a rogue babalawo and the boy's life may be wasted for nothing. Unfortunately, people believe the impossible.

All I see in all these things is organ trade sadly.
The security agencies need to track those who are said to be advertising all kinds of rubbish ritual stuff on FB. There'll be a lot of revelations from there.
