Good afternoon nairalanders, I'm new on this site and I have a issues I have been worry about my wife. I don't know what happened to her ear and we have done about 3 times on medical operations in general hospital. What I'm worried about now is that this thing started growing again and I'm worried of what to do next because I don't want anything to happen to her ear.pls doctors in the house I need you on a medical advice at this point. This Keloid. It has a very high recurrence rate after surgery and the best outcome is obtained by combination of 2 or more treatment modalities

It is best handled by a Plastic Surgeon, and will require a combination of surgical excision plus Steroid(Kenalog) injection or Radiotherapy and pressure application.

Don't just visit any doctor; look for a Plastic Surgeon, either privately or at a Teaching Hospital.
