If so, i can guide you aright.

In my country Nigeria, a member of the House of Representatives or member of State House of Assembly, who has served for more than two or three terms can be addressed as "Rt. Hon." as a courtesy title. This is why you would hear addresses like say, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwanyi etc etc

It is however, more common for the title "Rt. Hon." to be reserved for say:

1. The Speaker of the House of Representatives (current or former)
2. The President of the Senate (current or former)

However, oher members of the House of Representatives, House of Assemblies even those who have served for three terms, are typically addressed as "Hon".

No it doesn't, Lagos belongs to the indigenous people of Lagos state alone. I'm happy the real Lagosians are waking up from their slumber. Why are Togolese and Benin Yorubas not laying claim to Nigeria since they have their kits and kins here? There are Egbas of Ogun and there are Egbas of Lagos no one should lay claim to each others land.

My view is that any Yoruba son and daughter is welcome to run for office in any Yoruba state.
I'm an indigene of Lagos state and I have no problem with him being the speaker.
Now that he has been impeached, he needs to accept his faith and stop disturbing the house.

This is a fight between the two factions of APC in Lagos. The Mandate Group and the Justice Forum.
Odumbaku (Baba Eto belongs to the Mandate) while mostly the younger folks (including several LAHA members) belongs to the justice.

Obasa is from Lagos. Although his family are settlers in the Iju/Agege are in the 1800. He is not Awori by descent but Ijaiye/Egba. Ironically, several folks from the Ishaga, ogba, abules Egba, Agege e.t.c area supporting The new speaker (justice) are also Ijaiye/Egba settlers (from the sack of Ijaiye during kurunmi war. Pansan ti won fi na iyale lol. Politics is crazy.


There are Obasa in Iju area of lagos. Obasa is a general Yoruba name. You would find Obasa everywhere there are yorubas. From Kogi to Osun to Ogun to Lagos.
