Yoruba Leaders Sound Alarm: Reject Tinubu's 2027 Re-election Bid or Face Economic Devastation

In a bold and urgent move, Yoruba leaders and stakeholders have issued a stark warning to South West governors and politicians: reject President Bola Tinubu's second term ambition in 2027 or risk plunging the Yoruba people and the six South West states into extreme poverty and economic hardship.

Citing Tinubu's dismal performance in office, the Yoruba leaders argue that his re-election would spell disaster for the region, exacerbating existing economic woes and stifling growth and development.

"We cannot afford another four years of Tinubu's misrule," declared a prominent Yoruba elder. "Our people are suffering, our economy is in shambles, and our future is uncertain. We must take a stand and reject Tinubu's second term ambition."

The Yoruba leaders are urging South West governors and politicians to prioritize the interests of their people and the region, rather than blindly supporting Tinubu's re-election bid.

"We are not asking for much," said another Yoruba leader. "We are asking for good governance, economic prosperity, and a brighter future for our children. Tinubu has failed to deliver on these promises, and it's time for a change."

As the 2027 elections draw near, the Yoruba leaders are intensifying their campaign against Tinubu's re-election, mobilizing their people and rallying support from other regions.

One thing is clear: the Yoruba people will not stand idly by while their future is mortgaged by Tinubu's failed leadership. The fate of the South West region hangs in the balance, and the choices made by its leaders will determine the course of history.

We should vote Mr Atiku abi.

Laughable.

Mr Tinubu is doing a great job.

He has reset our economy. Now, we are ready to reach for the sky.

Corrosive subsidy is gone, gone, gone.
Local government autonomy is around the corner.
Imports have gone down drastically.
Non oil exports have gone up drastically
Big infrastructure development is going on at record pace.
New projects are announced almost everyday.
Billions of dollars of new foreign investment.
Nigerian stock market is booming like hell.
Nigerian companies are announcing blockbuster profits.
The naira is stabilising.
Food prices are coming down.
Regional administration (not to be confused with government) is taking shape.

All of the above and more in less than 2 years.

To cap it off, Nigeria has regained its position as Africa's largest economy.

The worst of the tough times is behind us. Nigeria is marching forward towards becoming a $1 trillion economy.

In my book, and I am not interested in arguing with anyone, this is the best President/leader Nigeria has had since independence.

The 70 something year old man is working non-stop, like an ever-ready battery, not listening or pandering to noise. Just doing his best.

I doff my hat, Mr Tinubu.
