The reverse is the case. You and the UK forced them into war, making him forego a settlement that would have made both him and Putin happy in April 2022. That he heeded your advice in the first place should have made you all send the weapons he requested the second the words left his mouth. Instead, you stalled and further prevented them from going on the offensive. Zelensky should have been smarter as well. It's such a shame that whatever settlement they eventually agree on won't differ much from what was initially set. Only difference being the millions of lives lost along the way. Agreed, but since the war started, Ukraine had shown the world it ingenuity but digging deep and survive the first month onslaught agai st all odds. US intelligence only gave 2 weeks before Russia capture Kviv but 3 years into the war, Ukraine not only survive but produces 30 per cent of weapen it uses in the war in Ukraine. Trump's response is a good riddance to bad rubbish. Zelenskyy shouldn't have spoken like that at the Munich summit over the peace talk organised by U.S.and Saudi Arabia. He was ill advised by the European leaders who pushed him to go blunt. He shouldn't have made that discrediting speeches about the same U.S.that has largely funded the war while European leaders were having their kickbacks and never wanting the war to end. Zelenskyy was not diplomatic with that statement. After all, it's called an organised peace talk. The Eu will never prioritize Ukraine's interest over theirs. They never wanted the war to end and only waiting for the perfect time to exploit Ukraine through many post war trade policies and other collateral damages agreement. Zelenskyy is truly a comedian. Truth is that in terms of career, that some (or few) Ukrainians have used this war to get better opportunities in developed countries, while some lost their well-paying jobs and resources in Ukraine 1 Like |
