Congratulations to everyone who go in.

I thought I'd get in and eventually have the moral justification to touch more on this for future applicants but, unfortunately, I didn't so I'd write what I can.

This our set of candidates is likely the most foolish of all sets that have attempted to get into NNPC. That Nigerian way of never doing anything right and always wanting to cheat the system still came in handy.

In a highly competitive recruitment of over 12,000 with the organization looking to recruit less than 1000, these so called generous applications began to share their questions to their competitors. I even read of a certain guy who walked out of his own Interview to share his questions with those on his interview queue which gave them an added advantage. While answering the questions alone does not determine if you will be employed as other factors such as confidence, communication skill and others play a role, having the questions before hand helps you improve on these factors.

Now, do you know why they shared their questions?

1. Overconfidence - they were just so sure they have performed well and were already on their way in.

2. Under performance - This set just knew they didn't stand a chance so why not just spil?

But, by and large, the questions asked were so similar and repetitive that there was just no way sharing the questions did not tilt the outcome of the interview.

Some of these morons are not even the best orators, don't have the best aura, do not appear confident to their interviewers, have not studied a course that gives them a competitive edge - they are just morons.

So I know many of you will come finding this thread in the next recruitment. Learn from us. Don't let your hard work and sleepless nights go to waste for a thankless service. Nobody cares if you helped them get in as it is today. Many who got tips and got in today do not even remember who shared questions with them. Do the right thing that will not unnecessarily tilt the outcome of the interview and put some of you at a disadvantage. They will gaslight you as you may have seen earlier in the thread, they will say it's people like you who do not get ahead in life but hold you ground. And that way, whatever the outcome is, you'd know you have given your best.

Good luck to everyone.
Future Applicants, please take this advice seriously!
It's so on point.

Computer Science (IT)

- Can we meet you?

- List and explain the SDLC?

- Should someone complain to you about their
system slowing down, which solution will
you recommend?

- What is the most significant development (in
your opinion) that the nnpc experienced post
2020?

- How do you resolve a conflict between two
parties. Explain practically with an example of
a fictional or real-world scenario?

- If there's a fire in this building, would you use
the stairs or elevator?

- Do you have any questions for us? No
pressure. If you don't, you can stand up and
leave.

To ALL FUTURE APPLICANTS, I WISH YOU THE BEST OF LUCK

SeunSister:
If you didn't get into the NNPC, don't blame yourself thinking you are not intelligent or not the best.

We had close to 50 panels if not more than with each having their own unique bias.
Someone may not perform well before his/her panel but just because he/she finds favour in the sight of the panel members for one reason or the other, they will rate him/her well. Same applies to someone who must have performed excellently before his/her panel but because he/she didn't find favour in the eyes of one or all of the panel members, they will not rate him/her well.

That has always been my fears. Remember in school, some lecturers are kind and others tough. Same thing applies here.

So, don't blame yourself at all. The goal is to be successful in life and you must not be at the NNPC to achieve that. I don't think the NNPC GCEO is among the top 100 most successful people in Nigeria. So, pick up yourself and work out your life for the better.
This was my advice from.the onset, on a whatsapp job group.....its painful but plz move on. Everybody will not work in nnpc

If you're an arts, humanities or law graduate/Applicant, do not invest your energy in the exercise.

Engineering and Science are the core disciplines of the NNPC because of NNPC's businesses.

To get in as a humanities Applicant you must be exceptional and hope that Engineering and Science students from your state are not all exceptional as well.

Although applicants were advised to move on jeje.

Someone working with them (NNPC) whose source is impeccable said it on this thread that mails ain't coming anymore! . You can scroll up and find it yourself.

Just that the questions that should matter now are:
Looking at how 4,500+ were interviewed last recruitment and 1000+ plus got appointments, does this one also follow ?
Does the federal character also play out in this 2024 exercise ?
Were 2,000+ (or at least the 1000+) appointed considering the 10,000+ interviewed ?

It would also be good and unbiased, next time NNPC wants to send out their survey mails, it should be after success mails were sent so that honest feedbacks/reviews could be sent grin

I have not received any mail from NNPC. I did not know that others were already receiving theirs. It's not up to 72hrs since the announcement. There's still hope.

Did Any Experienced hire here receive success mails as well?
Re: NNPC Graduate Trainee Recruitment 2024 by youngblackgee(m): 8:28am On Feb 20, 2025
So, before tomorrow ends everyone who participated in the exercise will receive an email which states whether they were successful or not.

Application portals will also be updated to reflect that. I doubt anything will change though.

At least people who are desperately hopeful will find closure.

Hi, good afternoon.
Heard from a friend that got in touch with an NNPC staff. The staff said some mails (offer letters) were sent out last night to candidates. Please do you or anyone know if it’s true?

Lol. There is a reason I asked the question. And yes, I got in. Why I asked is that, I have always heard that the benefits or allowances are not usually stated in the offer. I currently have a good job that pays considerably well. so I would want to know the incentives that would make me leave one for the other
