6,500 Igbo youths are jailed in India and over 8,500 are jailed in Dubai. The Dubai prison where our people are kept got filled and they started transferring them to another place, in Malaysia is more than 15,000 Now tell me what the OHANAEZE Ndi Igbo president & co. All the representatives we sent to Abuja to represent us doing for our people! They are enriching themselves and families only. I always laugh out loud when some people still believes in their oppressors.

mrvitalis:He is still trying to be clever by half. Everybody know the only reason why such number of Ibos are jailed abroad in those countries mentioned is drug trafficking. |

mrvitalis:In UAE, once your visa expires and you are caught still residing there, nah automatic deportation. There was even a time the UAE govt extended a free air ticket for illegals. The Gulf kingdom does not subscribe to western concept of incarceration . Their punishments are inline with Sharia law. You steal, you get your arm amutated. You rape or murder some one , you get beheaded . There are hardly any crimes you can commit in Dubai other than financial crimes that will warrant a lengthy prison sentence. So in a nutshell, those guys in Dubai prisons are not there for some flimsy immigration crimes as Dubai govt won't hesitate to deport any illegal alien. |
