Is Warri refinery and port Harcourt refinery back from maintenance if not they should be able to give 50 million liters a day for Nigerians consumption (Propaganda).

Ensure that the price is brought down, subsidise the local producers and this will discourage importing. But how far with CNG? How come we are no longer hearing about it in the news anymore?
Cng? Who wants to put a bomb in the car along with family?

The eyesore on Bourdillon Road
2nd January 2025

Beyond his neighbours, there is something about the sight of people hanging around a president’s residence that does not speak well of his leadership capabilities. Maybe no one has nudged him to see it, but the impression that spectacle on Bourdillon Road generates is that Tinubu enjoys the sight of suffering humans and thrives in—and through— their poverty.

If all these years, impoverished people hang around you and you remain comfortable enough to keep them just so they can be handed tokens of your large heart, then it means you have a pro-poverty mindset. Such a frame of mind is oriented toward cultivating poverty rather than stimulating abundance. That is why he could unproblematically relate the story of his “friend” who went from using five Rolls Royce to a far-less valued car and not consider the import of the nonsense he was saying. That spurious account was an indication that this is a man for whom poverty—of others, not himself—is an ideal.

Why do the people allow useless leaders looters to emerge from among themselves?
Does it mean that the people are even more useless looters themselves huh

He doesn’t know the cost of life, the price of the bean, of the fish, of the flour, of the rent, of the shoes and of the medicine, all depends on political decisions. The political illiterate is so stupid that he is proud and swells his chest saying that he hates politics.

The slowpoke doesn’t know that, from his political ignorance is born the prostitute, the abandoned child, and the worst thieves of all, the bad politician, corrupted and flunky of the national and multinational companies.”

it is very very possible oo, nigeria is a big hib and don't forget even at the present rate of 1000 naira to a litre, it is still one of the cheapest in west Africa and fuel smuggling is still very very much ongoing at the borders. i think the real question should be who and who are those importing ? is nnpc one of them ? it seems that is what they are trying to defend that they are not one of those importing but we all know better

SarkinYarki:
Again I repeat Nigeria doesn't consume 50 million litres a day

Not even 25m

50,000,000 litres/day means 1,111 nos of 45,000litre-trucks per/day.

The way lies, fraud, and propaganda fly around freely in this country is really sickening

Nigeria does not even consume 25m per day. Leave the lies bro. Do you know what is 1,111trucks per/day each with the capacity of 45,000litres means?
Re: Nigeria Importing 25 Million Litres Of Petrol Daily – FG by onatisi(m): 7:55am On Feb 20, 2025
bros why do they need to lie if truly subsidy has been stopped?
i am not defending them but just saying that there is still very very heavy fuel smuggling going on at the borders most especially in the north, and in all the regions, same with the Cameroon border too just to mention a few, whether it amounts to 50m or not can still be debated though.

On its part, NNPC refuted the importation claim yesterday, stressing that it got no business with private importers while as FG (NMDPRA) says 25 million liters are being imported daily.

Nothing is clashing here, as for me.
Bro, i taya ! the incoherences from Tinubu regime is over ridiculous, they just say anything to save face for that moment

How did they even arrive at the 50million daily consumption judging our current reality were Majority is cutting cost

With these consumption surge, are they telling us Nigerians are buying more fuel @ 1k
Using ourselves can anyone relate, how many houses dey on generator for night, who they buy full tank nd run Ac down for these economic, who is fooling who huh

The government who made refineries work is more shameless compared to the previous ones who couldn't make the refineries work by your standard? Okay, Nigeria was importing 200 litters. Now it's importing 100 litters because local refineries now cover for 100. For you, that's not good enough to begin with.

Mind you, I saw keke in a part of Lagos yesterday running on CNG. I approached the guy and asked him how much he buys CNG per kg and he said N250. For you, that's not commendable.

Stop making your education look like a waste just because of hatred. If person dey cry, e still dey see but I realise you close your eyes and cry openly just because you hate Tinubu.
is tinubu using CNG?

Difficult to believe the words of these NNPC and their subs without hard evidence. Abeg, media try harder and get proven hard copies to verify these figures. Cos it's always changing to suit their narratives.

Let me repeat, beginning 1st March, trucks with a capacity in excess of 60,000 litres will not be allowed to load in any loading depot for petroleum products. By Q4 of 2025, we will also preclude the loading or transportation of petroleum products on any truck in excess of 45,000 litres. So that is the breaking news for today.”
This is a welcome development

Why are we importing what we have a natural abundance of?
See this question is what every Nigerian avoid except igbos because, we all know the answer. Nigerians prefer these hardship than sorting out themselves regionally.

Nigeria should reach agreement to split the country into 4, sign 200yrs agreement for the distribution of crude oil across the four countries in equal ratio and by extention to other west African countries. Let those who have the capacity refine there own and let those who don't have the capacity sell there own and import finished product.

The oil in South South can satisfy the whole west Africa but we decided to allow Britain and Europe to steal all and give us 10% finished product back.

When France wanted to help Biafra win the war, Britain reached agreement with France to share the oil and France withdrew. A pipe is running from south south to UK straight carrying our crude oil and gas to UK and France. The remaining is sold and reimported as fuel. The US also have a share with UK but I don't know how they do it. I pray Trump will have the conscience to release Nigeria and Africa from the cage.

The importation figure is a big fat lie. The ban on 60K capacity tankers makes no sense. They're banned from loading at the depot ... they're responsible for destroying our roads ... but ....are they banned from the roads?...no ...just banned from loading from the docks. Person that never enter school can say what why we will continue to see 60K tankers on the road. And yet. ..we are still going to vote these politicians into office again ... regardless of party ...sa.me selfish corrupt people.
