Marcel Obi is not liable at all. When he was sending the money:
1. did Obi contacted him?
2. Did he sent his account to him?
3. Did he called him?
4. Did he put gun on his head to most send the money?
5. Are you not aware that lounging money into his account, he has incurred losses, as some amount would have been deducted from his account as the money entered his account?
6. You don't know that Obi can claim damages from Bashir:
a. For libellous conduct of Bashir.
b. For unsolicited lounging money to his account.

One thing is sure that money would not complete at the end of probable litigation as he will surely demand from Bashir damages and lawyers will also chop theirs.
If he apply Nigerian factor by arresting him, he will lose more. All he can do is to file direct complaint in the law court but arresting him would put more petrol in the fire.

The northerners are not stupid, they will not because of Bashir make no stupid statement. Who know Bashir in the north?
