Peacecore:^^^ Well...the rest of Nigeria doesn't really mind. Never ever forget that the entire Nigeria Governors Forum fought against some key elements of the tax reform bill (the bill is one of the very, very few things BAT seems to have gotten right). Nigeria's governors (to the last man) are strongly in favour of retaining the current arrangement for VAT proceeds distribution - including that dubious, regressive 50% "equality" clause. Your governor supports the status quo. That is the unfiltered, unvarnished truth. |

CodeTemplar:They will enforce it on everyone in that state, maybe the only place they will leave out is the sabo area, if they have one. If you challenge them, they may even lie on you that you blasphemed and then try to kill the individual. Muslims are the worst cancer of the society! Kano state university doesn't even allow Christian fellowships on Campus, later they will come online to tell you that Sharia is for muslims only. These people have an agenda, they know what they're doing. |

When exactly are they going to devote same energy to confronting banditry and terrorism in the state? They can't tolerate nightclubbing but can tolerate banditry and Islamic terrorism! |
| Re: Katsina Police Hisbah Bans Nightclubs by hotseat: 6:06pm On Feb 20, 2025 |
Yet, the hypocrites keep selling the dummy that Shariah law is meant for Muslims only. Nobody asked the Shariah apostles to go clubbing, why preventing others? Herein lies the lie that Shariah law has nothing to do with non-Muslims. Our Constitution which is our grundnorm is meaningless as far as these philistines are concerned. The NASS must step in to check the excesses of these cavemen! How would they feel if Christians reciprocate by banning them from praying publicity and blocking streets because it's against the teachings of Christianity? Nigeria is said to be a secular state yet, these religious bigots keep forcing their religion down the throats of others. We pray that religious war doesn't breakout in Nigeria one of these days. @hotseat |

Blazebond:^^^ No, no, no. They are not useless idiots at all. On the contrary, they are very smart people who have a single minded, laser-focused, will to win. They don't faff about, endlessly blowing hot on social media. They act where it really matters - in the real world. When the time comes to stand up and be counted, the noisiest parts of Nigeria are always the first to fall. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, i will refer you to the position taken by the Nigeria Governors Forum on the tax reform bill. If ever there was a time to take a position on fiscal federalism - this was it. What did Nigeria's governors (both Northern and Southern) - your elected representatives - what did they do? They supported the retention of the 50% "equality" clause. ![]() Nothing more to add. |

madridguy:But Anambra is not qualified to remain in one country with people of your ethnic group. Guess why Europeans tacitly dissolved the multi religious and multi ethnic groups that once existed in Europe. But laziness, drive for cheap cash from crude oil in the Niger delta region and stupor would not allow you accept the FACT that you can't belong in the same state with Anambra and its neighbour states. |

Yoruba traditional supersedes any religion. Yoruba have their own way of life which far better than what the sharia that didn't improve any one in the North. Sharia cannot stop bandits and boko haram. quote author=AmiableMosquito post=134222772]This is the madness and archival stupidity they want to introduce to the South West and some of the gullible Southern Muslims are cheering them on. Thunder fire them.[/quote] |
| Re: Katsina Police Hisbah Bans Nightclubs by Mathewrichard99: 6:59pm On Feb 20, 2025 |
I have a question. Does it mean there was night clubs in Katsina before, a Sharia State? If Yes, What do they do in that night club? Praying to Muhammad or what? Definitely a night club is where you party, dance to music which the Muslim will call Haram music and of course, no night clubs without ladies and Alcoholic drinks. These Sharia States are damn deceivers....They pretend even more than Prophet Muhammad.....INSHA ALLAH |
