My 2016 Honda Civic by dru23(op): 2:15am On Feb 20, 2025*

I finally joined the Honda Civic club 💪. After searching for months for an alternative car to my Infiniti. I was able to find a 2016 Honda Civic via auction.......

Also keep in mind I also used the 2005 Civic during my Uber days as an investor. Those Civic engine were almost bullet proof

This Civic is clean title in very good shape. I would like you guys to follow me on my journey as I put the car on the road.

Best decision. After Tune up you are 70% good

Before tune up the car engine was silent. But na until you hit road u will now how far. The fuel injector seems to be very ok and coil.

But the spark plugs was bad o. Bought brand new

A good tune up twice a year will make a car last much longer

Baba the car is for my personal use in Yankee. It is clean title and it too cost for naija market. It will exceed 25m

A good tune up twice a year will make a car last much longer

Tune up twice a year ? Below is my tune up

1. NGK spark plugs. That will last another 100k miles before tune up.
2. Coolant flush.. This is a complete flush and Honda antifreeze coolant was used. That should last at least 50k Miles
3. Transmission fluid.... Honda don't joke with their transmissions. It is recommended to change fluid every 30k miles.

4. Oil change. 0W20 every 7500k with full synthetic

Note: fuel injector and coil are good for now. If I decide to change fuel injector and coil. It will last another 100k Miles........

There is no need to be doing tune up twice a year

There is no need to be doing tune up twice a year

First there is a big difference between Lube Service and Tune up.

Tune Up for newer cars are recommended between 25k to 100k miles, so basically depends on useage.

Also all you did was a partial tune up may you check the list of parts included in Tune Ups

Starting to become a civic fan boy myself. Just got a 2014 Civic, however I’m not really feeling the CVT. Trying to save up to change it to an SI of the same year.

Ha the hatch na die o. I no sabi drive manual. But I saw an R model few weeks ago . The exhaust is like three in the middle. It was 🔥 unfortunately they only have them in manual..

The CVT for 2016 had good reviews o. Just make sure fluid is change every 30k and use the recommended fluid...

Does the 2014 and 2016 use the same CVT gearbox?

Honestly I don't know. But I know for fact that the 10th generation Civic use the CVT. Which starts from 2016. I know you have to change fluid every 30k miles or so per owners manual

Baba na clean title, clean title cost pass accident or salvage title....... No be this type car I go ship to naija to sell. Na to either use am in Yankee or use am as my personal car in naija.........

I told u he is a thi3f,he is claiming the car is more than 20m,meanwhile he won it at auction for 2000 dollars. Scrap car wey him don already dey change parts.ole
So when he ship am ,he go tag am 30m.bastad ole
