See the way Igbos all voted massively for Abiola despite Tofa having an Igbo vice. Abiola won in all SE states, yet Yorubas gave 90% of their votes to Tinubu and just 5% to Obi in 2023 while the Igbos gave 80% votes to Tinubu and just 10% to Obi. Yorubas will never change, very tribalistic people |

Abiola won over 45% of Igbo votes , he won Anambra state, this shows how detribalised igbos are. We igbos don’t believe politicians will make us rich, we believe in God and hardwork unlike some people who thrive in thuggery, tribalism and hate, they are always uncomfortable in the presence of igbos they cannot compete in a fair atmosphere without federal support, the civil war was fought to control Nigeria’s resources, they built Lagos and abuja with resources they don’t and will never have, they are afraid of BIAFRA, they are afraid of NNAMDI KANU, they are afraid of IGBOS , they made a mess of Nigeria even though they are in control, they ruined everything, countries like korea, malaysia, India, Brazil , Singapore, are far ahead of them, they are ashamed to admit their failures, they are suffering the economic hardship by there incompetent leaders who have stolen this country’s wealth. NEPOTISM , TRIBALISM, STUPIDITY has been there trade mark, they have passed this to generation of their children who foolishly believe igbos are there problem, travel round the whole country what you will see is, GLOOM, DOOM, POVERTY, SHANTIES, KIDNAPPERS,BANDITS, CORRUPTION, MISERY, HATRED. Am really ashamed of being part of a failed state |

PHIPEX:I think you should simply say which is correct that the SE will usually not vote for a Muslim- Muslim ticket - which is the case. If you want to start naming igbo, yoruba, hausa for and against Abiola - your point will fail. The AG who did not want the election to hold was Igbo, the ABN founder who got the ruling at night was an igbo man and the judge that ruled on the midnight ruling had worked in the chambers of the AG. Let's not go there. Just lets sit with the Christian ethos of the SE voter. Safer ground for everyone. |

spiSeyi:Abiola was the Aare ona kakanfo of Yoruba land. A warlord for that matter. Yoruba warlords never run in the midst of warfare. They die in the war. Learn also from Adekunle Fajuyi. Hope this settles the lies from the region of hatred that yorubas are never cowards. |

BreconHills:So when Abiola scored 883k votes in Lagos, it was only the Yorubas who voted for him? Abiola ran on a Muslim/Muslim ticket right. When he won by that wide majority in Anambra state, it was not a Muslim/Muslim ticket? The large votes scored in the rest of the SE and SS were not on the Muslim/Muslim ticket? So some of you have not been told that the 1993 elections had no business with tribe and religion? Why do some of you not take your time to clearly read the information at your disposal, reason deeply before commenting. Or you think that politicians who came up after 1999 could ever be compared with those who were there before and up to 1993? |

Abacaha was too loyal to IBB and also the back bone of IBB. There was no way he would retire or deal with such person. Abacha saved his life in 2 different coups and you expect him to deal with him?? IBB promoted abacha to 4 star general which he also wore as Head of state. Babana the matter long oh but make i stop here ogaemma: |

ElevationD:I have told you the way out and you are still speculating. The names of the people who did not want the election to hold at all and the names of those who supported the annulment are there. Their ethnicity is there. Talking about Lagos votes is snatching at straws. We are talking of clear and dedicated efforts to prevent the election. If Ikpeme's midnight ruling in favour of Nzeribes ABN had not been granted and supported by the AG there would have been no grounds for annulment at all. How people voted or didn't vote is irrelevant. True Professor Nwosu was a man of great principal. But based on the number of his tribe who took active and decisive part in the annulment, I think you should cool your jets and just accept this fact as a part of Nigerias history. No need for you to fight anyone's war. Most of these people are dead. Let it go. I did not need to be told about that election as I was already 32 at the time and witnessed it firsthand. |

That same late Moshood Abiola was part of the people who removed Shagari from power because he sponsored financially. IBB knew Abacha would be Head of state reason he annulled the election and appointed shonekan Lexusgs430: |

ElevationD:Why will I not know what I am talking about. For IBB to come up after 32 year's to lay allegations on Abacha, that Abacha annulled the June 12 election is a baseless lies that can only be told in the absence of General Sani Abacha. IBB was fully in charge of his game and plans When IBB perceived a purported coup from his very course mate who both of them were of the same rank, General Mamman Vatsa, IBB dealt decisively with Vatsa and despite their childhood friendship, IBB executed Mamman Vatsa. I have an audio that was recorded by Vatsa shortly before he was executed. IBB was dreaded and feared by all. He ruled NIGERIA like an emperor. In 1993, IBB was still the most powerful president in Africa, and under his nose, nobody will annulled an election without his consent. The same IBB after 32 year's is now telling lies that Abacha who was his far junior in the Army, wanted to remove him from power. That is an allegation of an attempted coup. So why did IBB not deal with Abacha the same way he dealt with Mamman Vatsa? Abacha is IBB far junior in the Army. You can see by this attached picture. IBB have spent over 10 year's as a Major General while Abacha was still a Brigadier. We all saw the body language of IBB that he never wanted to handover power. After much pressure, IBB lastly use this words - I STEP ASIDE. Is too late for IBB to come up and tell lies over a man who is long dead. I was part of the June 12 protest. Others may fall for his lies, but not me.

tishbite43:Agreed Abacha aborted the Gideon Orka coup. That was part of his duty and responsibilities to his superior Officer and Commander in Chief and as a serving GOC. In case you don't know, the Gideon Orka coup was plotted by junior officers. It means, if the coup had succeeded, all the officer's from the rank of Lt Colonel upwards will have gone down which would have included Abacha. So Abacha also technically saved himself and his job. Oga, Abacha was never a defacto Head of State. IBB ruled NIGERIA like an Emperor. He was the most powerful president in Africa throughout his reign in government. IBB was fully in charge of his game and plans. He masterminded everything that played out during his regime. Remember the figurative words he used when he finally bowed to pressure. He said and I quote - I STEP ASIDE. IBB was a master planner. One of the best military intelligence officer The NIGERIA Army have ever produced. From 1966, as a young Army officer, IBB was already involved in military coup in Nigeria. I will be the last person to fall to his 80 years old lies. |
