Seems the Northern elites have finally endorsed Atiku Abubakar to replace Tinubu in 2027. A close friend from Yobe state told me that they made a very big mistake voting Bola Tinubu. He said though they never trusted Yorubas, but El Rufai convinced them. Let's watch and see as the movie unfolds |

franchasng:Igbos and their perennial fear of the NORTH... ..Any small thing,NORTH THIS,NORTH THAT..and this North they worship no rate them at all!..both in PDP,APC and NRC they didn't see them as worthy presidential candidate. And you think yorubas trust hausa fulani too (Not the North)?..you are amnestic of what Tinubu eyes see for buhari and his cabal hands? I hope your friend in YOBE trust the tribe that killed ADEKUNLE FAJUYI,AKINTOLA,TAFAWA BALEWA AND AHMADU BELLO but hide NNAMDI AZIKWE more? which tribe trust each order in Nigeria, mumu! |

Whatever happens, I’m not going to support any ticket that has Elrufai on it. I hope Obi doesn’t fall for their antics to make him pick Elrufai as running mate cuz that will be fatal for him. |

hafeeanubasy:It's not news that Hausa-Fulanis and most Nigerians trust Igbos more than Yorubas. Go and read IBB's book and hear what he said about 1966 coup and Igbos. Yorubas are known for deceit, backstabbing and being pretentious to achieve favor. An Igbo man never hides his disapproval or dislike or hatred for you, he will tell you to your face without fear, and even tell you the day he intends to fight you, that is why most Nigerians fear Igbos and some misinterpret this Igbo man's character as being confrontational or arrogant. But a Yoruba man will be laughing with you while plotting evil against you. He will dobaale for you in your presence and praise you but behind you he hates you with passion but due to cowardice and treachery, he will never be bold enough to tell you that he doesn't like you or your ways and they call it being diplomatic and in Nigerian politics they call it knowing how to play politics of building bridge. Building bridge with lies, backstabbing and pretence. As for Presidency, Northerners are only scared that if an Igbo becomes President that he may divide Nigeria even though they are wrong because we are now under democracy where no elected civilian President can single handedly divide a nation. |

These are the men giving president Tinubu sleepless nights and making him lose weight. On seeing these pictures, his BP may rise far above normal. Men of substance! Men of timbre and calibre! |

They are playing a game....only Atiku can win Northen votes more than Tinubu. He only needs two more things to send the clueless one packing from Aso rock come 2027. 1. Gain control of PDP 2. Align all other opposition and disgruntled APC members into one bloc. stanluiz: |

franchasng:I don't know about the elites but the Northern populace will rally round Atiku in 2027 at a massive scale. Your Yobe friend is correct. More than half of Tinubu's northern voters across the North only voted for Tinubu due to Elrufai's efforts in championing equity and fairness. Tinubu made a strategic error. Which is why I laugh at Batists today who undermine Elrufai and limit his influence to just Kaduna. With Buhari's retirement from politics, Elrufai might end up becoming his natural successor as far as Northern politics go. Plus, Elrufai is not desperate to be President. The toga of corruption that had always counted against Atiku will not fly in 2027 because the status quo has proven to be no different, if not even worse, and Atiku has never been convicted, nor even arraigned. Tinubu will stand a better chance reconciling with the entire South and securing his base in the Southwest (Lagos and Osun are still not in the bag yet, and using might will be counterproductive). |

Nasir El-Rufai is determined to unseat Bola Tinubu. What many people fail to realize is that El-Rufai is a master strategist in politics, and his alliance with Atiku and Obi will create a formidable force. The 2027 elections are shaping up to be quite intriguing. |

AdesegunSanni89:Really? Is the self-proclaimed democrat scared of competition? So, Tinubu is now the richest Nigerian? I think with the networth of Oando and Hi-tech in the last two years, I might agree with you. Only performance can keep him in power beyond 2027, not dirty tactics. |
