We were much better in the second half. I think all these one week no football is putting the players off their rhythms. Well, from this week, we'll have midweek matches until international break. This will keep the players crisp and sharp. |

Also very glad we have strength in depth. Our 2 goals scored by players coming off the bench. Dani Olmo and Ferran Torres. Very crucial this business end of the season to be able to get goals from the bench. We're back to the top of the table. |

Dani Olmo's importance and impact cannot be understated. He's currently the only player on this squad that can score that type of goal he scored tonight - and we'll need such type of goals as we go into the business end of the season. We have to keep him 100% fit. He'll be very crucial in the run-in.

Fermin Lopez continues his hot and cold performance. The other day against Sevilla, he came on and scored. But got himself sent off due to a reckless challenge. Tonight, he was given opportunity to consolidate on his performance, he instead was sloppy and misplaced lots of balls. Couldn't get anything going and was hooked off after the first half. He should know that there are strong competitions in that position - Dani Olmo, Gavi, Pablo Torre and himself. Even Raphinha has played at this number 10 position. So he must sit up . |
