NAFDAC NIGERIA @NafdacAgency

In a startling discovery, NAFDAC uncovered prohibited drugs hidden inside PLUMBING MATERIALS SHOPS at the Onitsha Bridgehead Drug Market.

Officials seized two trailer loads of unregistered narcotics, banned tramadol, and counterfeit drugs concealed within these shops.

Traders in the market have accused NAFDAC of targeting non-drug sections during the operation. However, intelligence led the agency to search these areas, revealing large quantities of illicit pharmaceuticals.

Heightened security measures were necessary due to a past incident...

...three years ago when NAFDAC officials and police officers were attacked and narrowly escaped death while conducting a similar raid.

Without the support of the National Security Adviser (NSA), the progress made in this operation would not have been possible.

Re: NAFDAC Finds Banned Drugs In Plumbing Materials Shops At Onitsha Market (Videos) by naptu2(op):
Continued.

The ongoing exercise has so far led to the discovery of illicit drugs worth billions of naira.
The market, comprising multiple buildings and shops, operates as a hub for repackaging and revalidating expired medicines under false claims, before selling to unsuspecting consumers.

Since the enforcement operation began over a week ago, NAFDAC has removed at least 10 fully loaded 40-foot trucks of fake, substandard, and adulterated drugs from the market, some falsely claiming NAFDAC approval.
This man is the chairman of the building materials section of the market.

They asked him what he saw and he said that some people are using the place as wharehouse for drugs.

They asked him if he was aware of it and he said that he was not aware.

They asked him what he's going to do about it and he said that he has called for a meeting of officials of the market.

They asked him about the time that traders attacked NAFDAC officials at the market, but he said that he was not the chairman at that time. He said he heard about it, but he did not witness it.

"Traders in the market have accused NAFDAC of targeting non-drug sections during the operation. However, intelligence led the agency to search these areas, revealing large quantities of illicit pharmaceuticals"
These people when caught pants-down in a criminal act instead of being remorseful they will instead double-down and start playing that victim card to make it look like the Government is witch-hunting them. After claiming NAFDAC is targeting non-drugs section of the market, the same fake drugs were found in the so called non-drugs section. The same tactics they use here on NL, watch how some of them will still come here to accuse NAFDAC and instead support this criminal act. A fake drugs manufacturer is a terrorist.

I didn't see a man sitting on a minor.
What I see is
1 A government sitting on the same poor they rob of their destiny, education, housing and a future.
2 What I'm seeing is the trillions stolen by Ministry of Education. The money stolen kept this young lad belly flat down.
3 What I saw is the government of yesterday still sitting on the future of tomorrow's leaders.
4 What I saw is a trans-generational wickedness of the past enslaving the future.
5 What I saw is the endless operation of tomorrow in the hands of powers that has become.
6 What I saw is the helpless masses who can't help themselves and the photographer cannot help them.

Waiting for Peter Obi's reaction to this since he said NAFDAC should reopen the market for non drug section of the market immediately.

Someone who is suppose to be a national politician but decided to be chasing clout with everything.
