The only reason you people call it an Igbo coup is because it led to Aguiyi-Ironsi taking over. However, you people always fail to mention that the only reason that happened was because the coup failed.

Had it succeeded, Obafemi Awolowo would have become the prime minister and no one would be saying this "Igbo coup" nonsense.
