This would buy him some time to enjoy with his family. Biden was behind this proxy war .... pushed Zelensky to be the front man. Since 1994? ... there was an agreement between Russia...the US and NATO ... that Ukraine would not be allowed to join NATO because Russia would see it as a threat to its security and that can lead to war. The same with Russia or China setting up shop in Cuba.... which the US will see as a security threat and that can lead to war. No President e er floated the idea....until Biden came into office ...and not floated the idea...but got Zelensky to apply for membership. This is why Trump rightfully saying it could've been avoided. Then Biden went for Peace Talks .... that Ukraine is independent and has the right to want to join NATO ...in which Putin s response was OK ...we will put missiles in Cuba and Venezuela. Two face Biden then said that will be a declaration of war.

I've said before ...when Trump comes into office ... Zelensky will resign and he and his homies will ship out the billions of war dollars And migrate to Argentina or Brazil and live out his life in peace and luxury .

Russia, like the Americans in Iraq and Afghanistan, is on the wrong side of history. At the end of the day, however, both sides, as I have said have a point. Russia does not want to be invaded by some mad European potentate, and Ukraine wants to be independent and to chart its own course.

Of course, the issue started when in 1919, the USSR had a choice. Allow the former colonies of the Russian empire under the Tsars their independence, and by then Ukraine was independent, or retake them. We know the answer, and Ukraine under the USSR was severely opressed. Thousands died in the famine of 1933 (before the green revolution of the 1940's, such famines were de rigeur..even then this one was caused by Gosplan mistakes, not by nature). By 1942 when the Nazis took over, the independent Ukrainian forces allied themselves with the Nazis...and also killed a lot of Jews, as they did in 1918 even (and eventually fought against the Nazis after they found out how Hitler really saw them)..and then were taken over again by the USSR.

And when the USSR collapsed, large numbers of russians were left in Ukraine. And the new Ukrainian government, instead of running a Canadian style government with linguistic autonomy for minorites...ran a Ukrainian government. Everyone had to drop russian. Then they wanted to join Nato and the EU so that they won't be invaded by Russia again...alarming a Russian government that has known from hard experience that you can never really trust the Europeans (consider how many times a European power has invaded Russia from the West, and Putin would look less like a paranoid person and more like a reasonable leader with a good grasp of history)..and thus the war.

I don't think that anyone should support a side in this war. At the end, Russia has made the same mistake it made in Afghanistan and has made the same mistake that the USA made in invading Afghanstian and Iraq. Yes, both were ruled by oppresive leaders, but as you can see, removing them did not lead to changes. Should Russia win in Ukraine, they are going to get a large mass of resentful people...and more trobule in the future. IN 1918, they made the same mistake, and it eventually led to today's mess.

At the end, this is not about good vs evil. It is a war, a war of competing interests.A nation does not want to be colonized again and another nation does not want to be invaded for nothing again. There are no good people here.

(And if you are praising putin for invading Ukraine, you should remember to thank George Bush for invading Afghanistan and Iraq too.After all it was in the security interest....or you should wake up and realize that russia and the us should not have the power to determine nations destiny. And by the way, we should not keep quiet when oppressed.).
