Peugeot once owned the Nigerian market. They became complacent and lost their market share to Toyota, Hyundai etc. they are now attempting to come back with cars that are not attractive and don’t have the reputation of the rugged 504 and 505s of old. Their cars will have to be very very cheap to gain regain even a fraction of their lost market share. Toyota has locked down the Nigerian market they vacated for so long.

Dangote should have partnered with Toyota, I don’t see Peugeot making headway among Nigerian consumers except they are using Nigeria as an assembly base for exports.

This should be the concern of All NIGERIANS,as they would be mute on vital things.
Dangote should tell us ,how he has been helping Nigeria with Assembly Plants- instead of Real Manufacturing the Products.

Lol...for a poor country that an average citizen can't afford a brand new car, talkless of Peugeot that's unsellable.... Dangote is notca global business man, and if u are not in that category, u can't make top even top 100.... he's money comes from naira in a poor country... auto companies are moving to EV, he is stoll doing 100% combustion engines

“The 46th Kaduna Trade Fair has strengthened the partnership between KADCCIMA and Dangote Group, a company that continues to be a driving force in Nigeria’s industrial landscape,” Idi noted.

The Federal Government also commended Dangote Group for its contributions to national development.

Representing President Bola Tinubu and the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, Jumoke Oduwole, Acting Permanent Secretary Dr. Dafang Sale lauded the company’s investments.

“Dangote Group’s commitment to innovation and industrialization is critical to Nigeria’s economic growth. We appreciate the remarkable work they are doing,” Sale said.

Usman Saulawa, Director General of KADCCIMA, further emphasized Dangote’s impact on both local and global economies.

“The Dangote Group has made a significant contribution to Kaduna State’s business community and continues to play a vital role in Nigeria’s broader economic development,” Saulawa stated, noted that the unique collaboration between the Kaduna State Government, Dangote Group, and other stakeholders as a highlight of the fair.
