malali:Those jobs are what we call menial jobs in Nigeria, but, it pays at least the minimum wage. You don't expect established Finnish people to go for it. You could go for cheap phones, you mustn't go for iPhones and high end androids. If you got nothing serious doing in Nigeria, and this opportunity comes up, grab and run with it.

Arostar2023:Run to your death. Nobody is talking about phone. Cost of phone number and line. You must have a phone it must be activated. They need to be able to reach you at your expense. Nobody will hire you, without a working phone. Heating your accommodation in winter can cost you 300 Euros/ per month. The dog that's destined to get lost never hears the hunters whistle. |

malali:Lol... don't take it personal pal. By the way, winter is passing, and soon it will be summer. |
| Re: Finland Opens Application Portal For Nigerians, Others by malali: 7:48pm On Feb 24, 2025 |
Arostar2023:Not personal, just telling the bare truth. You will live a better life with 30k naira/month in Lagos Than 1430 euro in Finland. |

Are you deceiving yourself only or you want to deceive others too? Anyone from any other country can argue this and I will listen, but seeing someone from the world's poverty capital where majority still struggle to survive earning less than $100 a month with inflation holding them on chokehold, and you want to condemn an offer that is for global audience? The truth of the matter is that anyone who is opportuned to get this offer will still end up being better than majority of Nigerians. They will still save money, help their poor relatives in Nigeria and still make some investments. SMH. malali: |

Tradepunter2:I am just worried people may go there and get stranded. I was promoting a Canadian immigration course as an affiliate but stopped once a lot of negative news started coming out about the situation in that country. I have a conscience. You have people promoting Vietnam, Kazakhstan, North Cyprus, Albania and so on and I just feel bad. I will change my views about Finland as I now have a more accurate perspective. |

Go to Finland, you'll be welcomed by Simon Akpan (changed his name from Ipka). Nobody wants to have anything to do with a terrorist. |

AkhereOkaka:My goal isn't to discourage others. I used to market a Canadian immigration course as an affiliate but stopped due to surplus amount of immigrants who have overloaded the system. I can't destroy a person's life because I want to make money. Thanks for changing my views. However, someone said that visa processing flight ticket alone will be around 5m. Do you think it will be that much? |

grandstar:It's understandable but Scandinavian nations have higher and better standards of living than all the Western world..... The only challenges might be the longer nights.... Since summer is more like 3hrs day time then rest night.... So I think they trying to maximize utilize the light day light that comes with their summer... |

| Re: Finland Opens Application Portal For Nigerians, Others by malali: 8:28pm On Feb 24, 2025 |
alezzy13:Dont mind them. Once Nigerians hear foreign currency, the slavery part of their brain gets activated. Ordinary Jacket for winter will cost you 30 Euros, before you socks, thermals,a lot of layers, boots, gloves. To kit up alone na 200 Euros |
| Re: Finland Opens Application Portal For Nigerians, Others by alezzy13: 8:37pm On Feb 24, 2025 |
AkhereOkaka:Not to discourage but to ensure people do their due diligence before japaing, not this one people are bringing out calculators and converting to naira. Yes, standard of living is very good, however Finland has one of the highest tax rates in the world. |

Everyone won't buy house in Banana island. In fact, considering how much Tinubu has damaged Nigeria's economy, majority of Nigerians will never be able to build any house at all. How many Nigerians today are able to pay their house rent, eat 3 square meal, wear good clothes or afford other basic needs? If you're talking about Nigeria of Jonathan era, I would join you and condemn this offer as rubbish. Because then, many Nigerians were earning the equivalent in naira (exchange rate wasn't bad then). Nigeria has become a country of destitutes where most people struggle to eat. Come off your high horse and face reality, Nigeria has become a wretched country! malali: |

proeast:Proeast, I agree with you Nigeria is different. This same complain about housing is the same in the first world countries, no one is able to afford to rent a house on minimum wage, you have to work multiple jobs. I know someone working 18 hrs to afford to rent a place. The truth is not everyone in Nigeria will get an office Job. Agriculture is a good job. If you buy 30 local chickens and 1 rooster and you manage it very well. I can guarantee you in 6 months, you will be able to cover half your "necessary" bills. 50% of the cows we eat, come from Niger, chad, mali. Because we dont produce enough cows to eat. Cattle ranching might be too big, but what about goats and sheep. Everybody cannot live in the city and expect to be a full time responsibility of the government. Look at skit makers, some of them make more than 1000 dollars a month from revenue sources. You have to look for your god given skill. If you wait for Tinubu's governement to feed you, you will die of hunger. I am not pro government either. But if school no work, go learn trade. |

Tradepunter2:Do you know what it means to be earning €1400 in Europe?? Grandstar dey try tell you fact, you dey form ITK on top ignorance. Average cost of house rent in Finland is between €600 to €900 monthly. If you pay for this on just house rent alone, how much have you got left to pay for tax, food, bills and to save till the 9months is over?? Baba no be by cho cho cho, go do economic indexes and comparison of what it means to earn 1400 euros in Europe bfr ranting outta sheer ignorance. It's annoying when you see educated adults ranting without basic ideas. ![]() |
