Politics is dirty. He never supported tinubu presidential candidate and never believed in him. All those time he campaigned for him is just to save face after the primaries. He was even attacking Tinubu that Nigeria is not Lagos.

I think Tinubu boys set him up to be irrelevant and disgraced. I doubt it if he will be able to come back strongly politically. He is showing a lot of desperation and frustration recently. Now tinubu is changing the narration of southern Kaduna which used to be a slaughtering house of the NW before and all hands pointing to him to have lots to do with the killings. If PBAT win the second term in office which is likely, he will be totally useless and start blogging job or writing books up and down. In as much as I don't like Tinubu, this man can never be trusted. Insurgencies will spring up again and will be more deadly. That one alone can't make him come close to the sit of power again.

"The North remembers" is not just a slogan. Northerners live by it. No good deed goes unpunished.

I love what is going on. That been said El Rufie is the sole reason Tinubu is president today so wetin them do am no good. However, El Rufie is a bad man and Tinubu is destroying this country. Whose side will I be El Rufie supporting a Southerner is my pick. The North has rejected Tinubu if you like be fooling yourself with deceit.

I never and i still don't like Tinubu. But the truth has to be said. He is the smartest politician in Nigerian history.

He wanted to be president. But he knew it would never happen except he builds a political machinery across Nigeria. He single handedly raised AD and then ACN. He knew he needed northern votes so he drafted Buhari who wasn't willing to run again after failing to win the presidency 4 times. Buhari refused so Tinubu had to go seek El-Rufai to talk to Buhari. Buhari agreed on one condition. If El-Rufai was so sure of Tinubu, then El-Rufai should also contest as Kaduna governor. El-Rufai did and won.

Tinubu drafted Amaechi and Tanko Al-Makura plus other heavy weights. They worked tirelessly to make sure Buhari won. Tinubu got the Lagos-Ibadan press and all the media houses to sell Buhari's candidacy. Nigerians believed what they were selling. Even though they were liars.

Why did Tinubu do this? He needed a man up north with fanatical followership. He knew that if he had come out against Jonathan in 2015, he would have lost. So he brought Buhari in and packaged him. He needed Buhari's fanatical base in his corner. He made sure he got concession from Buhari that he will hand over to Tinubu.

Tinubu never allowed Buhari full control of the APC machinery. He wasn't that stupid. Come 2023, he declared, Emi lo kan! Buhari did everything he could to deny Tinubu the ticket but he failed. Tinubu's political acumen was a step ahead. Outside thousands of dollars spent, he assured each sitting and intending governor that they will win their electoral cases at the supreme Court. He delivered. No governor lost his seat.

However, through all this, he knew that the north had two people with wide appeal they would use against him in 2027. Ribadu and El-Rufai. He made Ribadu his NSA and El-Rufai, he kept at arms length. Why?

Tinubu is not a fool. He knows treachery and backstabbing when he sees it. How would you describe El-Rufai? A backstabber right?

Pictures exist on the web where El-Rufai is kneeling and paying homage to Obasanjo, Buhari and Atiku. How did he end up with these men? He stabbed Atiku in the back particularly.

Knowing this, there was no way Tinubu would have allowed El-Rufai into his cabinet.

This is the same Tinubu that was acting like a near dead im(b)ecile during the 2023 electoral campaign. He deceived the north into thinking he wouldn't last 4 years in office. See the same Tinubu today. Acting very energetic.

El-Rufai should take a seat. Tinubu owes him nothing.
