The US has had this policy as far back as early 2000s and even has had it when Obama was their president and he favored many blacks to enter the US.

Why is the policy there? Any nation who can share detailed info of applicants will have the same privilege. Why? As soon as you appear before them, they want to see everything about you so they can track you down if you misbehave. But if your country fails to do that, they will have to use their record to know who is qualified and who is not, and they too know that their record is not that comprehensive. So, the day we decide to share such with them, trust me, they will give us that too. And as far as I know, the other nations will have same information about the Americans.

This is one of the reasons OBJ initiated NIN, but till date, we aren't getting it right. Do you think they don't know that machineries from Niger and Chad have our NIN? Make una dey play oooo.

Same here would not live there if they paid me. I traveled via New York years ago and still wonder how person go leave lagos and go there in less than 24 hours I was scammed 3 times.
