Well said! He failed totally, he should rather be awarded the best failure Nigerian president ever.

APC should suspend him for anti party activities. They should have internal ways of resolving disagreements but maybe it's karma at work because Tinubu has someone from PDP in his cabinet working for him.

From what El Rufai said in the interview, he threw a jab at the Power Minister. He has also asked anyone to come out and fight. If I were PDP, I would not be happy having him back.

El Rufai is on TV saying he may not be in APC in 2027 and the party has not suspended him yet? Him and Wike have done what any serious party should see as anti-party activities.

There are internal ways of handling conflicts. The 5 PDP governors during the last election too should have been suspended if they went against the party because what destroyed PDP was the nPDP governors and if they create ABC party tomorrow, this same set of people will repeat the same pattern once they have disagreements.

All of them lack principles, they are not disciplined because they only came together to be in power for their selfish interests and not for the people.

That's naive. If our politicians don't return to what political parties used to be, they will destroy themselves. They already are destroying themselves because there is no party loyalty anymore. The politicians are stronger than the party once they get elected.

Any party that falls for him will fall. What he is doing is to try to fill the gap of Buhari leaving the stage after the APC-PDP-nPDP pact. He even admitted on air that his son is in APC. Someone has to fill that gap now that Buhari has finished his turn and it is Tinubu's turn. APC cannot last 20 years in power because of how they were formed. It's not a curse. The problem with this theory is, he is 7 years early, there's no way Tinubu will lose primary to him or even the general election, even Wike have seen the handwriting on the wall, he will buy his time, remain useful in this administration and after this next election, even Atiku won't want to contest again, then Wike can successfully pick it up.

I have said it in 2 threads already, all this noise from ElRufai is a cry for help. His problem is that he is a baby politician and he has always been in power on the strength of the political power or structure of others. All his public offices were appointments standing on the shoulders of giants and his governorship election was won on the strength of Buhari and APC.

The mistake technocrats in Nigeria seem to make time and time again is they get high on the positions they occupy and start to think of themselves as politicians and disrespect the game. It is the same error Osinbajo made.

ElRufai is a baby politician and he will learn politics by force if he says he wants to remain a politician.

El-Rufai is not like that, he is either with you, to swim or sink and if he is not with you, he doesn’t pretend. I believe he is still with Tinubu when he said the following statement:
“PRESIDENT TINUBU NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT HIS LOPSIDED APPOINTMENTS. IT’S STILL NOT TOO LATE TO CORRECT IT, BUT THERE IS A PALPABLE ANGER IN THE NORTH.”
I perceive this statement as an olive branch which he has extended to the President for reconciliation. I urge the President and the leadership of the APC to reach out to him for a truce, before it’s too late.

And El-Rufai is very brutal with his support and actions..
