Well, no weight. Odefa is anti-Wike. As I speak to you, he is running unopposed in the South East Zonal Congress. Again, the PDP NWC voided his suspension in January. So, it all comes to nought! |

fergie001:Oga as far as the court has affirmed his suspension the best thing for him to do is appeal the Judgement.Whether his suspension was voided by NWC is no longer of importance.I am even aware damagun led group replaced him some weeks ago.Just as Ayanwu was deceiving himself after the court in enugu gave judgement sacking him,Odefa can also do the same thing and end up like Anyanwu. The leaders of PDP are sincerely annoying me by their selfish actions.I am not a member of PDP,but I have been advocating a truce among the contending factions for several months now. They have made it a zero some game that the outcome is definitely going massively affect the fortunes of the party. |

This once great party is gradually dying and fading away . A new political party needs to take over as the opposition party |

I just pity PDP. They are finished.. Wike is like a bone stuck in their throat.. They can neither swallow nor bring out.. Wike is being used by APC..they should never have allowed him take up that position in Tinubu's government. The Judiciary will favour his own side of the factions.. For every decision the PDP makes, there will be a counter court order to keep them confused and at bay till 2027 is over. |

This is the work of wike becos this man opposes him... You see why PDP cant not expel wike for now becos he has bought his ward people at Rumuprikom over..you cant expel a party member until his ward do so first. PDP IS IN DEEP CRISIS! |
| Re: PDP Crisis: Court Affirms National Vice Chairman's Expulsion by onatisi(m): 6:32pm On Feb 26, 2025 |
ekhai:I don't think so oo. LP popularity is hinged mainly on Peter Obi , and it seems he is gradually distancing himself from the party nowadays . I don't think we have a strong opposition party yet. All we have are election time political parties |

fergie001:so now court orders have no consequence on the membership status and expulsion of a fomer NWC member because he's Anti wike? ![]() Wait until supreme court affirms Sam Anyanwu as National secretary and a new zonal congress sanctioned by Anyanwu is conducted in the SE zone ![]() |
| Re: PDP Crisis: Court Affirms National Vice Chairman's Expulsion by vanitybutiwanti: 6:44pm On Feb 26, 2025 |
valentineuwakwe:if wike is expelled, the show will still go on. wike is not a member of NWC, NEC or any critical organ in the party and his expulsion has nothing to do with resolving the crisis in PDP Why are Nigerians too dafft and devoid of common sense? Its the same way people pray for the presidents demise hoping that the countries problem will dissappear overnight ![]() In any case there is a court judgement restraining PDP from suspending wike even though his expulsion will have no consequence on the fireworks ongoing in the party ![]() |

Tomorrow morning you'll see another court giving him clearance aminulive: |
| Re: PDP Crisis: Court Affirms National Vice Chairman's Expulsion by fergie001(mod): 9:43pm On Feb 26, 2025 |
vanitybutiwanti:All on relative clauses "if", what if the Supreme Court doesn't reinstate him? Court orders have always had no jurisdiction on membership and nomination. The NWC suspended Orbih and revoked the suspension of Odefa. So, not even the Supreme Court have powers to dabble into it. Jorussia:I don't think I said otherwise. It is a Court judgement which should be obeyed at first glance. The first thing he will do is try to obtain a Stay at that Court, if he doesn't he will approach the Appeal Court which will definitely grant him reprieve. Even if he doesn't want to appeal, you want him to pay that money for...? He has been fully re-elected. Again, Anyanwu and Odefa have two different cases.... Everyone knows who is playing the drums. It's the pro-Wike and anti-Wike forces fighting and using the Courts. Listen attentively, Damagum cannot replace Odefa without the input of the NWC. The SE Zonal Congress held today and the Executive has moved on. You talk about selfishness and all that, you people seem not to know what's up in the PDP. Wike's task is simple, crush the PDP. He cannot be appeased. What do you want to appease him with? |

fergie001:There are a lot of things YOU DO NOT KNOW, Dan orbihs suspension has been lifted since last year. In one vein you support the removal of Anyanwu through the court and you disregard the removal of Ali Odefa who is no longer a member of the PDP claiming the supreme Court has no powers to dabble into it? You gonna learn as the days unfold ![]()

fergie001:Mind you there is a court order restraining Ali Odefa from going ahead with the Congress, whatever Ali odefa did today is null and void and it was done without the presence of INEC officials. To the wike issue, you're very wrong and you have zero idea about the fight going on in PDP. Wike invested heavily in the PDP and he is rightly trying to take over the PDP as a major shareholder. To the people you support, how many governorship, senatorial and House of Representatives candidates have they sponsored in PDP in the past 8 years? |
| Re: PDP Crisis: Court Affirms National Vice Chairman's Expulsion by fergie001(mod): 11:42pm On Feb 26, 2025 |
vanitybutiwanti:Again, our Courts have said it many times that you do not need INEC's presence to validate Congresses or even Primaries. The Party's job is to invite INEC, it is now INEC's choice to show up or not. 1. These things aren't new however Congresses are internal affairs of Political Parties, the Courts have no jurisdiction. The Courts come in to these cases via a thin line when and only when there is a breach of the Party's Constitution. We also saw a Court case in the NE Zonal Congress, yet it held. 2. I understand a Justice Belgore restrained the PDP from holding SE Zonal Congress. With respect to the learned Judge, there is no jurisdiction conferred on him by virtue of the fact that it is a Zonal Congress to be held in Enugu. The FCT Court is a State High Court and does not confer jurisdiction outside the FCT. Mind you, the Congress was expected to hold 22/2 but was postponed to today. This also is a lie. Wike has always been a major stakeholder, he is firmly in control of th Ag National Chairman and immediate past National Secretary, Anyanwu. He still has more Governors on his side than opposed to him. So saying he wants to be a major shareholder, you mean put it in his pocket and decide from his parlour like he led Rivers? No. He has always been in control, the whole drama started with his fight with Fubara, otherwise, he did as he liked. The Governors are saying he has had his time and he must cut them some slack, and they always do win. |
