MadPolitician:
This is what the traders should have done earlier. You don't walk in to a big market of that nature where billions are transacted daily, and close down everything because you are after few people. Many pharmaceutical companies have their outlets there. Almost all hospitals in this country buy one or two from there. What NAFDAC is doing is nothing but an abuse of power. Arrest the criminals but do it the right way!
Its sickening

So dumb. So they should inform criminals that they are coming to raid bah?
they need to come with a court order to search and seize. That's the law

Dear NAFDAC, SON,

Those shops should remain closed until the final judgement is delivered on the case.

I repeat, let those shops remain under lock. Opening those shops will amount to tampering with evidence.

They lost my respect when they started defending ipob's act of terrorism despite several Ibo lives killed by ipob. The same Peter Obi speaking for ipob being his neighbors, living together is the same person speaking for drug barons. He is a total calamity, Peter Obi. The court should dismiss their stupid suit and slam them N1trillion fine for frivolities.

Will you say same thing if it involves your kinsmen?

NDLEA busted drugs cartel who stored more than N200Billion worth of cannabis in Ikorodu sometime ago. Did they seal all businesses in Ikorodu and its environs?

What's happening in Onitsha is a clear script by Nigerian state to render Igbo businesses comatose. It's not only in Onitsha. But in ABA and Idumota in Lagos.

You can't deliberately destroy people's means of livelihood under the alibi of fighting illicit drugs.

Enough is enough!

It's a deliberate attempt to kill Igbo businesses.

How do you justify closing down people's means of livelihood under the guise of fighting illicit drugs for ten days?

This is a clear script by Nigerian state to destroy Igbo businesses.

Time will Tell...!

Don't exhibit your ignorance.

Onitsha market is an international market with all shades of people. All ethnic groups are found in Onitsha market. So, don't exhibit your crass ignorance here.

Try to move out from your enclave and visit other states. Tanko must be a trader from the North. He is real. Not imposition or impostor.

No serious government would sit idly by while some heartless individuals continue to send innocent people to their early graves through the sales of fake and adulterated drugs.

NAFDAC and SON should immediately proceed to prosecuting those engaged in the sales and distribution of fake and adulterated drugs to serve as a deterrent to others.

Their grouse is that NAFDAC and SON must inform them before sealing their shops so that they can hide incriminating evidence of fakery.

Those supporting these "killer drug merchants" should examine their conscience if they have any.

Stop saying what you know nothing about, Dora was killed because she exposed the death of Yaradua.

The tragedy of tribalizing every criminal act is such hindrance to effective administration.
They're fake products all over Nigeria; from petrol, to food, medications, electronics, to clothes. The victims of this fake trade are not limited by tribe or region, so why make it a tribal issue?
I have lived in Kano, Calabar, Ibadan, and Lagos. Every part of this country suffers the effect of one fake product or another. I can't imagine NAFDAC and soldiers closing Kofar Mata or Sabon Gari markets in Kano, because they're chasing a few fake product peddlers?
Go to Idiots and other places in Lagos, what do we have?
Even the famous Oluwole area of Ibadan with a whole district for producing fake products, labels, and documents has not been closed.
Fake drugs in Onitsha has to be flushed out, but like all policing activities, it has to be done with least collateral damage to innocent bystanders.
If closing a whole market in Onitsha is acceptable, let's do the same in Lagos and other places where we have fake products.

How many of these frivolous cases had been won on the past? Many frivolous cases like these were raised against Tinubu due to hatred including Abuja citizens, but all failed woefully. People die daily due to fake effect of drugs while these people are spending illicit money to build mansions. Ok, court is waiting for you to see what you will present better to convince the court

These people are heartless, they show little or no remorse for the atrocities committed. Human lives are nothing to them. Instead of cooperating with the NAFDAC in their investigation they are suing NAFDAC. Even if there are innocent ones among them is this the route they supposed take.
