The FG can not do it all.

It's down to each respective state government to pass stringent regulatory laws governing the retailing, distribution and whare housing of pharmaceutical products.

The Anambra state House of Assembly has just shown the world that they stand with these counterfeiters just as Obi did when news of NAFDAC's raid on the market in Onitsha broke out .

Both Obi and the entire members of the Anambra state House of Assembly have chosen the side of the fake drug merchants .

I say no problem.

If Anambra state and Peter Obi are so sympathetic to the financial success of their fake drug merchants at the notorious drug market , it's only fair that Anambra and Obi benefit from whatever they see is right about fake , adulterated , expired and unwholesome products and drugs.

The rest of Nigeria should however pass stringent laws banning any drugs coming into their respective States from Anambra and the SE in general. Not only drugs but any consumable product should not be allowed into the rest of Nigeria if it's coming out of the SE .

Since you prefer trade , Nigerians should give you a real trade war.

It is DISTURBING that politicians are advocating for the PROMPT re-opening of a market whose SOLE purpose is the manufacturing and distribution of POISON.

These criminals are producing and selling FAKE, and therefore DANGEROUS, drugs to people whose health are already FRAGILE.

YET politicians are UNITED in defending them.

It's a fuccccking SHAME!

But you are WRONG about it being up to State Governments.

NAFDAC is a federal agency that was established specifically to TACKLE issues like this.

But they are TIMID in the execution of their duty.

That whole market should have been DEMOLISHED!

And all 10,000 criminals should have been packed into a TINY prison to seethe and rot in their WICKEDNESS.

And their sponsors and financiers should be tracked down and forced to FORFEIT all their assets to the government before joining their foot soldiers in prison.

People who make it their business to willfully PEDDLE poison to MILLIONS of vulnerable people are worse than DEMONS.

They do NOT deserve to live among humans.

If people were NOT so dumb, every politician advocating for the re-opening of that market should have been LYNCHED by now.

I didn't call for NAFDAC scrapping .

I am calling on state assembly houses to pass bills that will sanitize the retailing and distribution of consumables.

The era of some village touts from the yeast dispensing drugs off the counter should come to an end.

These same semi illiterates operating pharmacies are the ones used as outlets by the fake drug merchants to distribute their whares.

The fact that the entire Anambra state House of assembly is riding with the fake merchants and calling for reopening of that market despite NAFDAC not yet concluding their investigator shows that every state must do all it can yo assist NAFDAC in clamping down on the menace of fake drugs and other consumer goods.

Not only the State government, even the local government or LCDAs should be empowered to fight the menace.

This is getting out of hand.

They want to wipe out millions of people with these fake drugs and foods just for them to make money!
