It isn’t cheaper to use generators neither is it healthier . So Nigerians don’t feel comfortable using them. Let the Government provide steady power supply and let’s see if generators will ever be used by Nigerians. |

Bobloco:Guy, you are evil 100%. A terrible human being beyond redemption like most of your fellow creatures of hate. Must hatred of Tinubu, because he defeated your "Yes Daddy" messiah and prevented Igbo Presidency, cause you to lie this preposterously? Is it not same Nigeria we all live in and are witnesses to the best improvement in power supply since 1999? This is a power Minister even the devil will have the decency to admit has produced the greatest output in the sector for decades now with power being particularly terrible under GEJ.I remember last year when Adelabu was getting praises for steady power supply. Your sort, on this very forum, credited it to rainy season and insisted everything will flatline in dry season. It has been dry season for months now and power supply keeps improving. As per running out of new excuses, blatant lies Adelabu is "worst minister of power" is now your desperate outlet to spread hate and disaffection against the current government. Why don't you tell us Tunji-Ojo is also worst Minister of interior and those under OBJ, GEJ and Buhari were better? Douche. People like you are a main reason I am an unrepentant fan of regional autonomy that will allow homogeneous people to join hands and make progress while sadists like you can go back to the unprogressive hell hole you came from full of toxic and hateful folks who contribute nothing to society other than hating on other and telling ludicrous lies like "Buhari dead and cloned" and Adelabu "Worst Minister of power". When you lot are not lying you're busy wishing death and misfortune on others like the Igbo Pastor who demanded Remi Tinubu poison her husband so he would not be sworn in as President. Never known any group of people on earth as evil as you guys. Pure and undiluted hatred of others such that you would still be badmouthing them after they donate an organ to save your wretched life. Only bad and terrible news about the "Zoo", because you and Agulu fraud Obi are not in charge of her, excites you sadists. As I type now we have had light since yesterday morning. 20k petrol in my home gen bought over a week ago remains largely unused. Ditto my business premises. You people and your black souls should live with animals like venomous Snakes. |

UltraSolid:if power supply has improved in your area, kindly note that there are other 'areas' in Nigeria. As far as my memory serves me, power supply is at its worst in my own area under AEDC. According to you, Adelabu has produced the highest electricity output in the history of Power Ministers since 1999. Well, that's a blatant lie. See Nigeria's power generation as of 25/02/2025 below. An average of less than 5,000 MW and you are saying power has improved. How??

Bobloco:The power sector can demystify anyone. Even if you brought in world experts - they would be frustrated in months. Some reasons: 1.Popular idea that electricity is part of the national cake - direction connections curse. 2. Inability of population to pay rates that will encourage investment. - no cost recovery 3. Political and economic vandalism - increased cost of investment. 4. Misunderstanding about the structure and role of participants from Gencos, Discos etc. Everything is government. A lot of people that get light regularly don't call in to say - in my area short of system collapses light is steady on band A. Nothing less than 20+ hrs per day. With my inverter, my generator is seriously unused. |

ZombieDredd:You are the one who needs God's mercy. Crumbling power infrastructure, previous governments have neglected and refuse to invest in, means grid collapse that will only worsen on over time. Not Rockect science and even my ten year old son can school you on that. Government, with all the major issues facing Nigeria, cannot fix archaic infrastructure that has been allowed to become obsolete over decades. The plan, and it is the only viable plan, is to deregulate all aspects of power supply fully (I.e generation, distribution and transmission) so that States and region can and must create their own power solution. In the meantime, the immediate brief of the power Minister is to improve power sjpply as much as possible so that private and business productivity an improve. He is doing that very well but the issue remains that most of you olodo do not know it is not kobos that will stop grid collapse. The FG cannot invest scarce resources in a prehistoric grid that must be newly design in modular States and regional arrangement anyways since deregulation means it is now about States and region satisfying their own needs first and fully. We cannot have a fully deregulated power sector yet you ignoramuses keep insisting FG must be major investor in power. That is counter productive to the power masterplan. What you olodo are suggesting is like insisting we should go back to 1980, with State control being the order of the day then, per an oil sector that is today now fully deregulated today and open to private section investment a d participation. What is commendable is that despite the grid collapse, which is all sadists like you wish to focus on, power supply has improved drastically everywhere. What progressive and positive Nigerians will note and understand is that Grid collapse, while undesirable, is not everyday but improved power is being sustained and even seeing gradual increases. This is directly because of the impressive work Adelabu has done whipping distribution companies into shape and incentivising them through greater reward for there effort since previous government did not seem to make the simple connection with how DISCOs cannot distribute effectively in a nation with a shocking predisposition for avoiding paying electricity bill. No genius is needed to work out it is sadists and enemies of progress that always highlights negatives alone but deliberately never speaks of positives to include the best output of power to homes and businesses since 1999. |
