Power should be top priority. A lot of things bring lower quality of life in Nigeria. Like I will say, a Nigerian must not get into physical fight with a Cameroonian as they eat more, even healthier than Nigerian s..... No thanks to hyperinflation and herdsmen apart from 'turbulence' rather than relative tranquility of daily life. Not every country increases prices of food, goods and services indiscriminately from previous prices 5 yrs back. Hoping we get things right in Nigeria for longer lives as seen in our neighboring country. |

This government is just clueless. Improve power transmission, you're talking of phasing out generators . Who will use generator if power is constant? Something that'll die a natural death Where there is constant power , did they phase out generators? |

With our massive solar panels, we enjoy close to 20 hours of power everyday in Unical. |

That is what they have been saying for years, as if it were a joke to them—but not to us. Nigerian youth have been doing everything possible to secure a better life. However, in Nigeria, only those with money can truly afford a decent life. If you have money, consider leaving this country—nothing more, nothing less. But if you choose to stay, focus on improving your life and making smart investments. Keep a close eye on Nigeria’s economy because it can pull you down quickly, making it difficult to achieve your goals. As a Nigerian youth, the situation in this country is no longer a joke. |

creativejagaban:It isnt even wailing anymore. Just plain, shameless and ridiculous lies like "Buhari dead and replaced by Jubrin from Sudan". How can anyone living in Nigeria, who is also conversant with what has obtained since our democracy began in 1999, call Adelabu "worst power Minister"? Objective and progressive Nigerians, to exclude those who can never see anything good about Tinubu for banishing their Agulu fraud messiah, understand our reality to note that, given vastly increased power output, Adelabu is actually best Minister of Power since 1999 given what he met on ground I.e decrepit power infrastucture that has been phased out in many nations many decades ago. |

![]() Now i know these old people has finished us, country whose capital city can't get 24hr electricity? This is more than beer parlor talk. Civil savants handwork (This NIAF file, report, file, report before you know it the Directors, Deputy directors who are stakeholders from various ministries got retired, no result) with issue and several meetings held, we are still where we are in terms of electricity. |

symbianDON:Go and tackle your DISCO AEDC. You cannot expect me to be spokesperson for all States of Nigeria yet I know that, In most States of Nigeria, power supply to homes and businesses is best since 1999. All statistics have to be interpreted with logic. Distribution companies were woeful under GEJ and slightly better under PMB. This means power generated, which would statistically qualify as output, are not being efficiently distributed to homes and businesses. The quote below is from the article accessible through thee link below. We all need knowledge to understand what is going on. We cannot just be blaming Government, if we fail to educate ourselves, like children who demand food but are too young to understand daddy lost his job months ago and has no money to buy food. Unlike kids, we are adult and should be able to read, research and gain knowledge that then helps us become part of the solutions wee seek. For example, I have read and researched enough to know our power sector, cumulatively, is in far worse condition than most Nigerians can begin to imagine. Adellabu iss aware of this and therfore knows he has to work to his strenght and the current financial capacity of the FG. It is with power distribution, where he has latitude to make a difference, that Adelabu has shone. With Generation for example, Nigerians should not expect 100% FG-funded and driven solutions per the power master plan taking in a fully deregulated power sector, signed into law by Buhari and PBAT, which means States and region can use PPP arrangements to generate adequate power like Lagos and Ogun currently planning for 24 hour power supply in the near future with private sector partner. The true measure of a DISCO’s service lies in the amount of electricity it supplied per customer.https://dataphyte.com/latest-reports/energy/powering-inefficiency-9-years-of-electricity-distribution-in-nigeria/

Joke of a country, give uninterrupted 24 hour electricity and see if generators won't fade out itself. Nigerians have suffered too much, what will it take to give the people you govern some benefits of democracy. Many countries have done it . With the vast resources abound in the country , should we say Nigeria is cursed?. Anyways posterity will judge every leader from 1960 till date. |

Always unveiling plans. Why can't they just do something and announce that it has been done? By this revelation, power saboteurs would have time to devise means of vandalizing power infrastructure so they can continue to s their generators. |
