In a sane country like Japan, trust is not a big deal. People pay people in advance and expect them to deliver. They know they'll always do the right thing.

In Nigeria, trust is a big issue. Nobody trusts anybody in this country. So, asking people to vote online will lead to a lot of controversies because Nigerians have struggled with mutual suspicion since 1960.

People should always gather at a centre to vote, but the results should be transmitted to a central display system that shows results in real time.
