Judolisco:In a sane country like Japan, trust is not a big deal. People pay people in advance and expect them to deliver. They know they'll always do the right thing. In Nigeria, trust is a big issue. Nobody trusts anybody in this country. So, asking people to vote online will lead to a lot of controversies because Nigerians have struggled with mutual suspicion since 1960. People should always gather at a centre to vote, but the results should be transmitted to a central display system that shows results in real time. |

You can pretend like you don't know how compromised the fraudulent INEC is. The worst is that you get the evidence from INEC who frustrated access to bvas and even wiped the data because the claimed they needed it for gubernatorial elections. Even the certified copies were blurred. You think you're doing Obi but you're doing future generations by supporting election rigging. We saw how you guys were campaigning against electronic transmission and collation because you know your unpopular candidates can never win Softmirror: |

ValarDoharis:Presidential election requires more scalability. When Facebook suffered system glitch in 2021 ,it took them about 24hrs to rectify it . Sometimes, some glitches or bugs take longer to sort out . In the last US presidency election that has more resources for scalability than Nigeria, they experienced system glitches in some areas . Lastly ,it's called software development for a reason ,today's development will be better than yesterday's . Next election will be better . |

Next election will have a different type of rigging. They won't be f00lish to repeat same tactics. In Imo election, they preloaded election results before the election HydraFeeds: |

MadPolitician:Your opinion is half-baked. The northerners were against him during the presidential elections, he couldn't secure enough votes in the southwest, so how do you expect him to win? |

ValarDoharis:I deh shake my head for you. Was Obi that popular in the north prior to 2023 presidential elections that'll make northerners to vote for him? You want to take the back door to snatch power, you be real gbajue. Sebi you people deh talk that time say Buhari go show Tinubu shege. Are you now saying Buhari is the one that rigged elections in favour of Tinubu? I hope you won't give yourself HBP because of this Tinubu matter. |

ValarDoharis:Oga, it is not about Obi, it's the system, there are places malpractices was carried out in his favour too, it's Nigeria issue, we hardly willingly complare to best practices |

ValarDoharis:Both Tinubu and Obi had people who rigged the election for them—in the East and South, there were places where no one could vote for anyone other than Obi, and the same was true for Tinubu in some areas. In contrast, Atiku primarily relied on vote buying, yet he still managed to secure the second place. You believed Obi had won because you thought that the efforts of Igbo people, along with those of some supporters from the North Central region, were enough to secure his victory. However, it's essential to consider the votes from other states and regions where Obi did not receive as much support. Did you account for the votes from these areas, or did you assume that Obi's support in the East and North Central regions would be sufficient to counterbalance any losses in other parts of the country? Regarding your claim that the IReV system was shut down, and the results were tampered with, leading to Tinubu's victory over Obi, it's crucial to acknowledge that the 2023 election was not free and fair, as all candidates engaged in election malpractices. Ultimately, Tinubu, who went extra mile to use INEC emerged as the winner. Had Peter Obi won despite these irregularities, you would have been content, while Tinubu and Atiku's supporters would be lamenting the outcome. That's politics for you! Let's put the past behind us and focus on our present and the future. Peace! |

badoh:If Tinubu can rig himself into power through his "Grab and Run" tactics, Jonathan should have retained power through a "Hold and Stay" tactics.. Let me tell you something. And I will like you to always remember this; if the good people in Nigeria are not ready to jump into the gutters with the bad people to fight and wrestle power away from the hands of these evil men, Nigeria will still be a mess 50 years from. ow.. Power is not served ala carte.. You have to be willing to outdo the evil ones in their own game of power, then when you finally get there, do whatever you can to set things right.... Thank you |

| Re: If BVAS, IREV Are Automated, We Won’t Hear About Glitches – Jonathan by Almunjid: 6:52pm On Feb 27, 2025 |
ValarDoharis:It seems you may have missed the part where I mentioned that the election was not free and fair, as all candidates, including Tinubu, Atiku, and Obi, engaged in election malpractices. Both Tinubu and Obi attempted to rig the elections in their strongholds, while Atiku relied primarily on vote buying. However, it was alleged that Tinubu went a step further by using the INEC staff to tamper with the results, ultimately securing his victory. This suggests that none of the candidates were innocent, as they all tried to manipulate the election in their favor. In the end, Tinubu, the candidate accused of the most extensive rigging, emerged as the winner. Shalom! |
