At a point in his Liverpool career(I know because I checked back then) he had 3 goals for and 3 goals against at Liverpool, which means for each goal he scores for us, he gives back through an own goal. Here’s a perspective for you.
None of those French players you mentioned made the French team to the World Cup in France 98 nor the Euros in 2000.
No single PSG outfield player made the 23man squad in those tournaments.
Only Bernard Lama, France third choice goalkeeper, who at the time was on loan at West Ham United from PSG. The French were not very rich on GKs.
He was their second choice second choice at West ham.
PSG was a small club then.
