The court can rule against fraudulent or mischievous affidavit.

Imagine if you swore an affidavit that you are 100 years old in order
to benefit from an elders welfare package.
Your affidavit can be thrown into a thrash can.

Remember how the APC lost the Bayelsa election because the deputy-governor
elect swore fraudulent affidavits regarding his name.

If affidavit are some supreme law that nobody can question, you can even declare
yourself a president by swearing an affidavit.

O think it is strong but if there are evidences that negates it, then it can be nullified
