I meant Nzeogwu and Ifeanjuna did not kill those people because they were Igbos but because they were military boys. If they were civilians, how will they kill those people? It was a military coup and not Igbo coup

Legislators are elected in their constituencies. They arrive at the centre and elect a Prime Minister

The Prime Minister selects Ministers FROM AMONG THEM,

So if the Prime Minister was killed they should simply have been allowed to choose a New Prime Minister

But Ironsi chose to complete the coup and protect the Ibo coupists

Ironsi filled a power vacuum already created by the coup after crushing the coup. He did not plan the coup so couldn't be attributed to overthrewing Balewa
