Its obvious there was a big struggle with the putting down this statement. The writer really struggled with the choice and use of words.

His Excellency should just eat the humble pie and do the needful. He is a young man with bright future. He should not allow himself to be misled by advisers that are after their own pockets. Nobody can love him and mean well for him more than the man that picked him from a nominal Civil servant role and made him a Governor.

All these emergency friends he surrounds himself with do not have his interest at heart. If he goes down, how many of them will offer to go down with him

A word is enough for the wise

Oga learn to read, no judge is depriving anyone of anything.

Even secondary students know that the Executive is only allowed to spend when they have presented their budgets to the Legislative arm and they ok it. 3 people are not enough to represent the legislative arm when no mass disaster occured and God did not suddenly take the others away like Elijah.

As for the LG elections, again he needed to follow the extant laws and failed to do so for selfish reasons. Abuja cannot be sending money to people in the Local government that are not recognised by the constitution.

This is not rocket science or juju...it is simple government 101..... Fubara chose to be led and deceived by cowardly people who have never won a fight single handedly on their own and now managed to make a barely literate Wike look like a first class professor in law.
Obasieke made proclamation on Edo State assembly when about 3 members were present. He used those 3 house members to work till the tenure of the state house assembly ended.

Wike is a clog in a wheel of progress

We believe that the determination of the main issue of defection of the 27 lawmakers is a matter not before the Supreme Court as it is pending at the Federal High Court in Port Harcourt. Since the issue of defection wasn't on the table before the learned Justices, in their eyes, Amaewhule and the 26 others are still operating as lawmakers until that matter of defection comes before them.

I find the entirety of this post from someone who is full of mischief.

He has played into Their hands as he should have resolved the matter amicably.
He allowed the noise of the market distract him, He would be engoying federal support now because wike will want him to survive at all cost but baba dey ignorant, now he will pay for it dearly, i won't be surprised if he's impeached for one unreasonable act.
And for Nairaland Faceless Lawyer's i pity una, your interpretation can destroy the country if you don't tame how you present your emotional interpretation.

Leave this Igbo Obidients who thinks everything is nzogbu nzogbu. Supreme Court is the highest court in Nigeria and can't be supercede by any other court. Fubara messed up by listening to crisispreneurs who were just taking him advantage to milk him. He should have followed all the peace meeting earlier scheduled by the president.

what are the extant laws that were not followed in conducting LG elections in rivers state?

how were the people elected not recognised by the constitution?

if 27 members of the rivers state legislature defected and by extension forfeited their seats, how then is 4 of the remaining members not emough to form a quorum?
Re: Rivers Government Reacts To Supreme Court Judgements On Amaewhule, LG Chairmen by Cmeo(m):
Honestly, the victory is for the Legislature all over Nigeria and not for Wike. Legislatures can easily team up and reject an executive and vice versa. Executive should learn to have people on their side and take legislators to court for masses development.

The judgement is still being studied
Amaewhule and his committee of friends should wait first let's study it finish
As if you waited for them to study other judgements.
If they like, let them impeach Sim, if they like let him remain. I just need good governance in the state.

Hahaha let leave Prof Wike out of this and let talk about how Rivers state will survive without allocation derived from it's state, moreover they are pending matters in court. I don't see how the Governor will be compelled to go present another budget, although I do be happy if the revenue were not halted, it could have been a good time to ask him to pay the legislators their allowances and salary pending when will know where the pendulum swing.

Me I am still confused because I know a case was withdrawn to avoid pronouncement of their legitimacy or otherwise, but as it is now in the eyes of the law they are still legal . Although they have foolishly grounded government source of revenue as a federation , I think it's high time we talk about resource control so one Judge would not be seating in Abuja thinking he can deprive people of their God Bless resource that is paying his salary.

To me, people are just given something to drink over, the battle is about who to be in charge of the pot of soup of Rivers state.

At the end, they will settle the matter in their coven and the masses will be at a loss as usual.

I've stopped giving myself headache over politicians matter.

All these Agbado political analysts una go just dey yarn rubbish. Constitution, una no sabi.

A sitting governor can not be impeached without the signature of the chief judge of the state. The 27 committee of friends have to write to the chief judge, stating the offences of the governor and why he should be impeached.

The Chief judge of Rivers State lives in the state's government house and is a thousand percent loyal to Gov. Sim Fubara.
