Fubara has lost this battle

1. Even when the substantive suit of the defection of the law makers get to the Supreme Court, it will be discarded. The burden of proof is always a tough nut to Crack.

2. Fubara should be ready to trade-off. He got to the seat as a product of political tradeoffs. You can't have everything. People and negotiations were involved in the process that made you Governor. You can't discard them and want to enjoy the spoils alone. Its treachery

3. After few days of grandstanding, Fubara will mellow down and do exactly what the Supreme Court has ordered. He does not have any choice.

4. If he refuses, the House of Assembly can impeach him and his friend, the Chief Judge of the state won't be able to do anything. Disobeying Supreme Court judgment is an established ground for impeachment anywhere in the world. If his friend, the Chief Judge, set a 7-Man Panel, and they deem Fubara innocent, they will be clashing against the pronouncement of the Supreme Court. The Chief Judge will not desire to put his entire career and life-service on the line to serve Fubara's interest. When the chips are down, the Chief Judge will save his own head first

5. There is no way out of this for Governor Fubara. He just have to obey the judgment of the Supreme Court

6. I just hope he is getting the right advise. He shouldn't allow himself to be mislead. If he goes down, he would go down alone

Even though I don't understand how the court came to the conclusion of its judgement, I still can't trust the judicial system as some of the judges (no concrete source) are loyalist to some members of a political party. Until the judicial system is truly independent, we will still be on the long road to getting justice. Anyways both fubara and wike should lick their as**s. No politician in Nigeria has the interest of their people at heart. Show me one prominent politician that has their children attend a school that he/she built..... Rubbish and ingredients

It's not about right and wrong.
Life is not black and white.
This is about the law.
Sometimes what is right can be against what the law says.
Every adult knows this.

And yes Wike was right.
In the eyes of the law the law makers didn't decamp.
Making a public announcement doesn't make you a member of a party or not.
Resignation letter to your ward chairman is what the law recognizes, not public announcement.
Becoming a member of a party is also not done by Public announcement it is by going to ward and picking up a membership form.
If I stand up today and I say I am the governor of Lagos State, you can't take me to court and say I am the governor of Lagos State, becoming the governor is not by making pronouncements.

The PDP does not have any official resignation letters from the law makers and their names still remain in the PDP register.
Also the APC doesn't have an official application to join neither are their name in the APC register.

It's as simple as ABC Atiku is not stupid he knows all these.

Nothing to be heard again only the defection case which already has no bearing. The 4 assembly members only can't form a quorum of 32 members total. So everything Fubara did now both appointments and the conduct of local government council election is declared null and void 🤔... that's the law.!!!
