This is purely a case of use and dump.
And agreement was reach for Ukraine to Surrender their nuclear weapons. And 3 countries including Russia signed a pact that they would protect Ukraine if anything go wrong.

Yesterday, zelensky categorically stated that Russia has never keep to the any agreement. He cited several instances. And further for the assurance that Russia would keep to terms of ceasefire.
