While the issue was still hot and people had gathered, vigilantes arrived and took us both to their office under a tree.

After listening to both sides, the vigilantes demanded money. I refused to pay, but my roommate, Famous, bought gin and dropped some cash on my behalf. Later, one of the vigilantes pulled me aside and told me to brace myself—since the other guy had paid, they were going to flog me. I couldn't believe the humiliation I was about to face.

Funny enough, my family was well-known in Abraka and Delta State, but I chose to stay quiet. I endured the flogging and moved out of the hostel the very next day.

Barely a year later, my woman graduated from NDA and became a commissioned officer. During one of our conversations, this incident came up. To cut the long story short, one of her colleagues made some calls, and the vigilantes, along with some of their crew, were picked up. I never asked what happened next.

The point is—when a woman is out to bring you down, she will stop at nothing. What’s that saying again? Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.

I have watched Kingibe side more with Akpabio than Natasha in this particular case claiming " Natasha is a daughter to her"

I also saw the sacked Minister, Uju Kennedy trying to bully a female student into dropping sexual harassment charges against a lecturer.
