An Ikeja Special Offences and Domestic Violence Court on Thursday convicted and sentenced a part-time lecturer at Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, Kolawole Muyiwa, to life imprisonment for raping a student.



This is the reason we called all our fellow Muslims worldwide to support the creation of sharia law across all the yoruba land.

Generally, it's a crime for University staff or any school staff to have sexual relationship with students, when they're still students, but I doubt this is a case of rape.

It’s time for men to protest this nonsense life imprisonment for rape. Rape is bad and evil but it’s equally wrong to give life imprisonment to a man who only forcibly made love to a woman. He didn’t come with the intention to kill. He only made love to the woman by force. The said victim didn’t die. It didn’t cost her life. Why give give the man life imprisonment? What happened to 5 years in prison. Our politicians who have been committing far worse crime than rape gets only 3 years in prison. Our politicians have raped the masses and caused countless deaths yet to they go free. Men should begin to protest this rubbish judgement before these women finish us in this world. What is even rape? What is the motive behind rape? The motive behind rape is to make is to make love. Sex. The only wrong doing here is that he didn’t follow procedures. He made the love by force. To me , this shouldn’t attract more than 5 years in prison. It is too HARSH to give a family man with children life imprisonment cos he made love to someone by force . I’ll champion this cause immediately I have some few millions of dollars to spend cos I’ll make sure all these victims of harsh punishment gets their sentences reduced. Nonsense. This judgement is biased. The man is even a first time offender. A lecturer who has been impacting knowledge to thousand of students. Just because of a little mistake, you gave him life imprisonment. He never killed anybody.

If I were the judge, he'd be brutally flogged first before the main verdict for he is evil!

Even if life sentence looks harsh, men can't still protest rape. Rape is a physical/emotional/psychological attack on the victim. it should not be taken lightly. We even hear of cases of rape committed against children, toddlers etc. This is even disturbing to the hearing of a normal person. It is disgusting and outrageous. So rape in its entirety is highly condemnable and should be severely punishable just like kidnapping or armed robbery or terrorism where it is established to be true.
Because some women no get fear of God, they can lie rape on a man to punish him.

Obviously the student consented to the sex but had a change of mind maybe when the lecturer didn't fulfill his part of promise... So sad he found himself in this shit... Most importantly, MEN pls avoid ladies generally and focus on ur wife and gf only!!!!!!!!

I’m shocked. How can mere stories land someone in a life imprisonment. These human judges need to be replaced with AI. They’ve failed us.

A whole lecturer raped a student on campus...what did he think would happen? Did he think the girl would just keep quiet about it or what? Now he is going to die in prison.

Any man who cannot control his sexual urge is finished.

For a first offender with no prior? Life sentence is just too harsh!
