First, it seems a long term case so how can you just said the girl is right because she seems to have the right narration that is well articulated?
Next, the questions should be;,

" What was her efforts to let people know she's being raped? Did she shout?

Is a university, you'll literally find people around all that times.
Next, she was on trousers. I've never pulled an old lady's trousers so I can't tell how hard it is to do that but, I've pulled those of my siblings children (male and females) anytime they are with me and want to ease themselves. I can tell the rigour of doing that. As an adult, I believe if she doesn't want sex, the time it'll take her to fight before getting her trousers pulled off, plus the shouting she'll have made would have been enough to scare the man and or at least called someone attention.

Another one is, if the place was a lonely place when she entered the office, the moment he went out and lock the passage gate and office, pulling down window blinds, it'll have been enough to suspect and threaten him with "open the office or I'll shout that you want to rape me sir." It's an office and also day time. He can't think of killing you because eventually other workers would be coming soon.....

Lastly, being a first time offender [if really it wasn't consentual], a lifetime imprisonment is harsh.
