You stopped going to Church because you do not understand that God wants us to always come together to worship him.

Hebrew 10:25 says,
"Let us not neglect meeting together, as some have made a habit, but let us encourage one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching."

Church leaders being materialistic cannot make me withdraw from the congregation unless they point a gun at me when I refuse to give them my money. Also, if I consider the leadership of a Church unbearable and withdraw myself from the congregation, I will join another Church.

The point is that it is biblically wrong for a Christian to withdraw from the congregation and go solo in worshipping God.

Keep shouting.

If you are not the one with a plastic brain, you could have read and understood the paragraph that advises the OP to join another Church if he finds RCCG leadership unbearable. You could have also read the quoted scripture and given your interpretation of it.
OP, see one of Daddy's son wey don reply u so.

Its such a painful experience, Paul went through it. Its called the perils of false brethren.

You don't need a multitude to fellowship with. All you need is one or two brothers which you will have to wait on the Lord and trust him to bring such your way.

Don't mind those who misquote the neglecting of fellowship scriptures, God knows you didn't just walk out of church as an apostate, you were wounded and justifiably need to know this God for yourself so you don't go back to the same false groups or continue in errors with a hardened heart towards God.

There are so many people who need to take a break from organised, mainstream churches and seek God organically but satan keeps whiping them with the not neglecting fellowship verse so they can remain in falsehood and shipwreck their faiths.

Thank God I belong to a Church that really cares about the welfare of members. Anything happens to one person, almost everyone flocks around them. Pastor keeps announcing that no one is permitted to sleep hungry. They helped with my father's medical bills even though I didn't ask and could have handled it myself. Whenever one member is hospitalized, there will be a stampede at that hospital till our person is discharged! Widows and orphans are given priority care. Missionaries (including those who are not Church members) are supported. Students are supported while in school, etc 😎✌️

Morale of the story, plug yourself in a caring Bible believing Church. And when you're there, be committed to serving God and others. Don't be a parasite taking the kindness of others for granted.

In Islam, food holds great spiritual significance, not only as a source of nourishment but as a means to strengthen our relationship with Allah. Moderation is key, as excessive consumption can harm both body and soul. The Quran and Prophet Muhammad emphasize the importance of balance, gratitude, and mindfulness in our eating habits. Fasting during Ramadan teaches self-control, gratitude, and mindfulness, while also offering an opportunity to reset our eating habits and develop healthier living patterns. By being mindful of what we eat and how much we consume, we can achieve physical well-being, spiritual growth, and peace. #FoodAndSpirituality #Islam #Moderation #Gratitude #Mindfulness #Ramadan #Fasting #SelfControl #HealthyEating #SpiritualGrowth #Peace

You want him to move out of grace, (even as he is angry, grace still covers him) into fire and violent religion..... where he can get in, and must NEVER TRY to get out, or else his head must be cut off.(punishment for apostacy). We have seen through you people.

At the poster, please you can visit another chur h where you can be more edified. Men will make u angry. Men did it to Jesus and all his disciples. So sorry at your lost. Hope is not lost. Please find it in your heart to forgive them. Time waits for no one. Everyone will reap what they sow.

That scripture is not a commandment but an advice. And nothing in the scriptures says it must be a weekly meeting, or Sunday, or a place called "church".
As a matter of fact, it could just be a gathering of extended family and friends, or neighbours, all who are believers.

2.
And nothing in the post says that the poster joins with his family members to worship God.

3.
And nothing in the post says the poster is talking about whether going to Church should be daily, weekly, monthly or yearly.

So, you have only succeeded in embarrassing yourself.

Do humans really need Religious gatherings to communicate with their creator?
That should be the starting point..
And if they need, on what side is God?
Is God a Christian or a Muslim? Does God have Religion?
If Not a Christian, then who is then heading to Hell under God's watch?
If a Christian, that means Religion is higher than God...(never possible)
Is it possible that God would be serving another God in a Religion?

Please, this is not for Religious Angrybirds to respond but Deep thinkers...
Answers needed only from constructive critiques and minds, please.

When I attended an interview there in 2014. One of their pastors who is also a doctor was asking which political party I belonged and what my political views were.

They were expecting me to say APC because at that time they were fighting GEJ and in support of Buhari because of their political gains.

I laughed and shook my head. Very myopic people. grin

If I mention the name of the doctor, those in RCCG medical will know him. He also worked at General hospital, Broad street, Lagos at that time. cheesy

My name is Alphonso Olajide, co-founder of EyesOfLagos.com. I’m a blogger and web developer, and today, I want to share my heartbreaking story.

On July 27, 2024, I lost my beloved brother to kidney failure. He was a dedicated pastor at a Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) parish in Ahmadiya. For nearly five years, he served the church with his time, energy, and personal resources. But when tragedy struck, the same church he gave so much to turned its back on him.

When my family approached RCCG for a burial space at their cemetery, we expected compassion. Instead, they asked us to pay nearly one million Naira to lay him to rest. Their excuse? “It’s the system.”

Where was the love? Where was the support for a man who had given his all to this church? Back in March, when my brother was fighting for his life, he was taken to Pastor Adeboye. All they gave him was anointing oil.

This experience broke me. It opened my eyes. I can no longer support a system that values money over people. This is why I have stopped going to church—I choose to pray directly to God.

To anyone still blindly giving their hard-earned money to these churches, think twice. My brother’s story is proof that when you need them the most, they might not be there for you.

May God judge those who humiliated him after all his years of service.

Sorry for the loss of your brother. The key words in your post is below......

It’s the system.”
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤣

That's the key thing. The system set up by men like you and I to protect their organisation. Your beloved brother is just a company man after all doing the bidding of the system. As long as the system is concerned it kills those that set it up and protect it in the final analysis.

To worship God nowhere it is stated man needs a system or an organization.

I remember when I met one girl on Facebook and we chatted and we were to start dating but we needed to know certain things about ourselves.

She's an extremely religious girl who doesn't take church for granted. From her photos you'd know that she does everything in the church. But she was really beautiful.

I told her I stopped going to church and she asked why... I stated events where I was broke and needed help pay for recruitment form during that era before GEJ stopped it. A church member I met told me he doesn't have money and the next Sunday, he came with a new JEEP. I stated another instance where I met a medical doctor who said he has given about 2mill to the assistant chaplain to give me when I bring to him a good business plan. I did everything and one other church member too was doing everything. But he kept cancelling all the plans. We gave up.

Another instance was when I was almost homeless and I went to a catholic church to seek for a dwelling place and the priest turned me down and I cried. Another instance was when I begged a church member to come and be a guarantor for me to get a job and he refused... He asked me to come to his church to meet his pastors and I did and the pastor collected my number but refused to pick my call....

After I narrated all these things to her.... She said I was very entitled. That church money isn't my money ... I blocked her. I was an usher for 3yrs and I devoted all my time and energy for church events.... I travel to usher in burials and marriages as church members would beg the church to use the church ushers rather than paying for ushers. And I miss my Saturday lectures and reading timetable.... I was t doing that to get things in return but church is supposed to come through for it's members because that's the essence of the gathering....
You are working for the system too. The system don't care as long as it lives on. Anybody can be done away with to keep the system going.

I was never entitled.... I was hoping that that church truly stand for what it is..... There as an usher, I learned that rich people gets special attention.... While the poor only push to impress by always coming to church and not give any excuse.

One time in the meeting, a woman who was a special assistant to the wife of the governor then on health, who was the assistant chief usher, talked down on me because I went to our weekly meeting with a Bible In my phone but she claimed how she goes everywhere with her Bible..... Which is always inside her car.

My breakthrough wasn't from the church. I left the church and onetime I worked at a cinema and due to my calmness I meet a rich guy who's organization sponsored me to the US for a professional course ..... Came back ane got a scholarship in South Africa for my master's degree.

I pray to God directly and I don't go to church to do any rituals or buying hankiechief or olive oil or candle for prayers.... And I've been steadily achieving greater things....

Don't mind them reading their particular place, set date, time into that scripture. That's why you see them like sheep on Sunday in that specified building and every other day wolves elsewhere and even in their homes because of restricting the meaning of that verse to the mindset of meeting at a particular building on a set date and time.
