Nonsense State and country, what does the local government do for the people, Sanitation?? Water ?? Light ?? Security?? Good roads?? People don't care who is running the LG because they don't benefit in anyway. The only time I visit my local government in Lagos is when I want to do my car papers apart from that the remainder of the the year, I forget that they exist.

Easier said than done. The powers of the governor are enormous and with the backing of the citizens becomes even more cumbersome.

It’s not going to be easy to impeach a sitting governor in Nigeria because the process involves the State’s Attorney General who is a lackey of the governor.

I was discussing with my Ikwerre friend of Rivers State, I called him all the way from U.K to share his thoughts about the whole drama in Rivers State.

He said the Ijaws in Rivers state have transformed the political crisis in Rivers State into an ethnic crisis against the Ikwerres even when there are so many Ikwerre people supporting SIM against Wike.

How the Ijaws changed a good fight for the soul of Rivers State to a fight against the Ikwerre people.

He said since it an Ijaws agenda against the Ikwerres and its people, he would turn to his Ikwerre brother Wike.

If this happens the SIM is lost politically and his political death is certain.
