Mr Atiku should have stood up to handshake Mr Jonathan.

Northern politicians seem to have the kind of self-confidence that many of their Southern counterparts lack.

When Mr Jonathan was president, several Northern House of Rep members and Senators, even from PDP, were openly antagonistic towards him.

But throughout Mr Buhari's 2 terms, you couldnt point to a single Southern House of Rep member or Senator who was consistently and openly critical of Mr Buhari.
