Good day my Nlanders. I'm planning to buy a car but am confused. I'm a 9-5 person and I spend 800-1k daily as transport fare. I currently have 12 million in savings. The car am eyeing is Camry 2014, dealer is telling me 11.5 million. If I use 11.5m that means I only have 500k left. I'm confused weather to go for the car or not.

Save more.
Not for t car but emergency.

11.5 for car, what if it developed faulty after that or u have an emergency.

Even if it's 1 million or 2 yo cm we to that before you purchase the car it'll be better than having nothing left

Go and buy VOO with your money. If you even want to buy a car, do not exceed N5m budget.

If u feel u are not yet financial stable to use a car...perhaps u got lucky making the 12M ....then keep ur money in deposit with one of these good interest banks and be earning income of like 4-5k per day...

Ur transport is around 1k which good...
...with a car ..u can't spend less than 7k per day on fuel which is 7 liters if ur place is not far from work....ur monthly cost on transport will go up significantly to about 200k minus other maintenance cost

Don't buy a car yet, invest that money into something else that will be giving you returns monthly. No use all your money buy car when you never stand well.

Look for Volvo XC90.

Forget investment bullshit. Buy a corolla 05 model with like 6m. The rest 6m,at least fueling a week won't exceed 6k.thw rest balance,use am guide and drive carefully.avoid naija used cars

Hello, good morning, as an auto mechanic and car dealer I’ll advise not to go for that vehicle just yet. Say you buy that car which most likely is a used unit, you’ll probably want to do maintenance and that doesn’t come cheap say you use premium brands,
By maintenance I mean
- engine oil service , brake pads, transmission service and the likes. Get something cheaper maybe involving downsizing the model year of the camry

It's a little difficult to advise you depending on your status or earnings potential.

Why not go for Matrix

Like others said, try and save more first or go for something cheaper so you have some financial buffer

Being a first time car owner and probably a learner driver, I will advise u don't spend more than 6m on a car.
Look for a well used Camry big daddy or corrola 06 model or maybe a Naija Used muzzle and move start with.
It's stupid to spend 11.5m out of 12m just to buy a car.
U need to have something to fall back on, for the rainy day. BE WISE!!!

go for something similar and lesser in price, or better still get wwhat your heart desires life is short but note you will spend something tangible on paper works and plate number and you gats buy beer for men or u no get men
