Please I want to ask a question
I have someone that works with Lagos State government, and she promised to help me get job this march with Lagos state government….
According to her she said there is only going to be space this march…

She told us this since last year October or so, even till last month that my mum still ask her she said we should wait till march…

My question and curiosity is that she only have my cv, she have not even call me to register anything online or so…tho she is a top management staff…just wanna ask if is possible for her to help me get the job despite d fact that she haven’t called me for any registration and she is still insisting on this march.

Nobody needs to have your CV and you don't need to register for any job before you get it. As long as you have a strong connect.This is Nigeria.

In 2021 February, I was sitting with a friend gisting when a call came in. The person at the other end of the call said xyz said you should call him. This my friend doesn't even have xyz's number at that point. So he asked the person who called him to send him the number.

Long story short, he called xyz and he was asked to come to the office the next day.

He went and came back with an appointment letter

This is his 4th year in Public Complains Commission, Abuja.

Sadly, they don't seem to have a good salary structure cos that guy is always broke.

As long as your connect has you in mind, he just needs your name and your course of study to know where to fix you. When it's your turn to enjoy this flawed system, it will be like magic.

Like one of Tinubu's appointee said recently, instead of saying "may Nigeria not happen to me", say "may Nigeria favour me"

May Nigeria favour us all in whatever name you believe in

Do you know they would be given upfront allowance, Wardrobe allowance, relocation allowance and others upon resumption?
And that salary you’ve seen will change immediately they finish their probation (1year).
That is when you are fully consumed into the corporation.
Wallah you hardly see someone join NNPC and leave for another place (you know what that means right?)
They have the maddest terminal benefits/Pension package/insurance plans/ healthcare plan/ leave allowance and many other benefits.

And I said “overrated”not “too low”

Those 2 are in the league of their own. Na cabal people dey work for there. Silent gs, both have less than 100 work force I believe.

But there was a time around 2022 when NFIU was pushing for approval to make the salary of their Entry Level N20m per annum. Plus Salary and allowances. 😁

If the movement was done, I think NFIU is better than NNPC at the bottom if, else forget about it😂 because if I could remember, at that time, In the first quarter of 2022, about N150 trillion worth of transactions in Nigeria were reported as suspicious by the NFIU.

2. They are autonomous

NNPC is worth every hype it gets and even more. Yes, there are few agencies that pay more at entry level but it doesn’t make them better than nnpc overall.
