mikkypel:first of all you no get sense. if you get sense you will educate yourself before you speak. i said maybe students will not be able to work full time. which is a propose law from june 2025 as you won't be able to work with your national d visa and even if you get a TRC it might not guarantee you can work as a student. also you can no longer swap from student permit to work until you graduate. a lot of of things will change . Even to get work permit for those that are here on work and want to swap their jobs, it take 3 months and above. also not every company can give you work permit. and most company will prefer not to employ you, if you don't have it because of the process and complication. because you have opportunity now to work does not mean the laws will not affect you when it comes into place in june this year. the EU is changing maybe you know better than the polish Immigration Lawyers. even without the law in place yet it is difficult to process work permit. if you have your hours capped to 20 or 30 hours a week most companies would not employ you as they only want full-time workers. maybe you end up working in factory wey your eye go see sege. Also i advise people to avoid Wroclaw as they are people here 3 years no temporary residency card, they apply and inspector no send them. They are people also here in poland 11 to 15 years no Permanent residency card. If you don't speak polish just forget PRC. you either marry a polish citizen or learn the language. i also live in poland, work here and is married here. check my post on these tread and see who dey lie to who. i don't have time to respond to messages. i only come here to respond to message pending. and help when i can. people are still coming to poland without the right information. most come here thinking this is germany, canada or uk. E GO Shock YOU if you don't plan properly. people wey travel abroad to other countries same time with me, get citizenship, i never see PRC to talk of citizenship dey play. People don't say the truth. most nigerians will only want to use you and make more money with work permit that cost less than 200 euros for a company lawyer to process, some companies that need you would issue it for free. our brother go still bill you. . Please how much do you guys here pay for work permit again ? they are even a cases of fake work permits. make i no cast una for here if you can come to poland come, no problem. but know it not that rosy here. get the right information and see for yourself |

| Re: Polish Student Visa by zrocky: 1:11am On Feb 28, 2025 |
tensazangetsu20:dey play ,no learn polish first. read the article of 2023 and the new law coming has some new change. follow this polish immigration Lawyer (Anna Trylinska|Immigration Lawyer) ON IG to hear the coco on hand Poland: Changes to language qualification requirements for residence permits Flag of Poland A new regulation from the Minister of the Interior and Administration, introduced through an amendment to the act on foreigners and effective from 24 June, significantly expands the range of recognised documents for proving knowledge of the Polish language. One of the conditions for obtaining a residence permit in Poland is the presentation of a document certifying knowledge of Polish at B1 level. Until now this has often been a challenging requirement for applicants, as only certificates from the State Commission for the Certification of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language were accepted, leading to high levels of interest and difficulties enrolling in state language examinations. In addition to existing official certifications, the newly recognised qualifications include: certificates from the European Consortium for the Certificate of Attainment in Modern Languages (ECL), and telc GmbH, WBT Weiterbildungs-Testsysteme GmbH (TELC); certificates issued by universities upon completion of courses in Polish as a foreign language or another form of education in Polish as a foreign language; certificates of entitlement to practise the profession of sworn translator, issued by the Minister of Justice. It also remains possible, as under previous regulations, to fulfil the condition of certifying knowledge of the Polish language by presenting a certificate of graduation from a school or university abroad that uses Polish as the language of instruction, or a certificate of graduation from a school in Poland. mikkypel:Nice one papi, Can main applicant travel with dependents and that’s where my problem lies… Looking for the best way my wife can move with my 3 kids because they can’t live in China with me. |
| Re: Polish Student Visa by zrocky: 9:31am On Feb 28, 2025 |
Lance008:first do you have a visa already. by the way you are coming for a 5month course with a 3 month visa so it would expire before you even finish your course. Which city are you taking the said course. My advice is this 1) with a visa you are coming with you can only change to student trc, not work 3)make sure you do all documents waec, degree verifications and authentication @MOE , MOFA and polish embassy before you come. 3) once you arrivel look for a university for masters or BSc course. Proccess your admission for full-time studies ASAP. 4) look for work and hustle like mad to make money to pay your fees if you don't have the money already. 5) get a good lawyer, get an appointment to get your stamp of submission of student trc application. If you could not get a school don't wait before your visa expire, move to wroclaw get a good lawyer , apply by post, it take forever to get stamp appointment, but you buy time to get admission and you can continue working before them go call you for stamp you got yourself in order and you also made money . Any more questions quote me. I hope I can answer soonest 1 more think for the duration of your visa you should be legal in the EU. But once it expires you become illegal except you apply for trc or have a trc |

sewenbigboi:I'd rather obtain my BSc to enable me leverage the option of going for Masters anywhere in the world than to limit my self to UK alone. I'm 40 years old but my age didn't deter me from going for a BSc and I'll round it up in December this year, I believe you're way younger than me, you've all the time in the world, get your BSc here and Japa later, my 2 cents 👍 |
| Re: Polish Student Visa by babakb: 9:56am On Feb 28, 2025 |
sewenbigboi:Haa, Your course must be a special one then, you can try conventional universities then, or even private universities. |

| Re: Polish Student Visa by Soleye24(m): 12:35am On Mar 01, 2025 |
zrocky:From the bolden, are you insinuating that one can actually pay tuition fees by doing menial work? An agent is about applying for a master program for me and he has been saying that I can even work there to pay my tuition fee but I don't really believe him cos all these agents are only concerned about the money you will pay them so they promise heaven and earth. What do you think big man, do you think it worth it? Also, I'm presently working in a commercial bank in naija, does it really worth it? What you wrote up there about Poland changing their policy is giving me a second thought and a bit scary |

zrocky:Thanks for the information I will be taken classes at krakow Meanwhile will I be able to work part time like Uber eats delivery with bike studying language course |
| Re: Polish Student Visa by zrocky: 2:45am On Mar 02, 2025 |
Lance008:Krakow is a good city a bit expensive but good city. resident card get process faster there. yes you can work in delivery. lets hope the new law allows you to work full time as a student then you can get an office job. but please learn how to drive and get your international licence before you come. also if possible based on the course use coursera to gather some skill eg python, sap, sql , excel |
| Re: Polish Student Visa by zrocky: 2:56am On Mar 02, 2025 |
Soleye24:Every country change their policy daily so no need to fear. IF you can leave oga leave that banking job, but wait till you get you visa. also previous experience in banking and finance could land you a high paying job. if you skills are top SQL, Risk, SAP, Sale force ACCA, ICAN 7k gross man if not more. but why use agents when you can do it yourself(well as a banker u no get time , i get) Your agent is right. you can work and pay your tuition fees, save and leave fine minimum wage is around 4550 gross, net maybe 3800 - rent outside hostel 1300 max + feeding ,internet on phone etc 500 or less =savings 2k X 12 month 24k. tuition is around 13 to 16k for masters. the rest of the maths is easy. if you know how to hustle you can make more than that doing blue collar jobs in big city. if you land a white collar job in your field omo you go enjoy. NOTE I ONCE SAID BIG CITIES HAVE THEIR PROBLEMS BUT YOU EARN MORE. SMALL CITIES MOST TIME NA FACTORY FULL THERE BUT YOU GET YOUR CARD ON TIME some schools allow you to pay per semester or bits every month. if you come you don't like it you can move to another country from here. ANYTHIN ELSE QUOTE ME. I DON'T EVEN REMEBER MY NAIRALAND EMAIL SO PLEASE DON'T SEND PM |

| Re: Polish Student Visa by memiscme: 11:02am On Mar 02, 2025 |
zrocky:@zrocky Can you please advise - 1. Which foreigners' office would a research student that would live in Kostrzyn nad Odra apply for the TRP/TRC? 2. How long (rough estimate) does it currently take to get the TRP/TRC there? 3. Is it better to apply by post if the foreigners's office is several miles away from Kostrzyn nad Odra? 4. I am not sure if it is the correct application requirements list that I am looking at, but is a translated birth certificate required to apply for TRP/TRC? |
| Re: Polish Student Visa by zrocky: 2:22pm On Mar 02, 2025 |
Lance008:not true. as of now if you come as a student you don't need work permit. If the law changes and you need work permit you can get it in smaller city faster than big cities but it should take max 6 months |
| Re: Polish Student Visa by zrocky: 3:28pm On Mar 02, 2025 |
memiscme:Omo make I no lie , I no Sabi wey be Kostrzyn nad Odra. E be like you dey go one villa like Dat dey careful not everywhere for here dey diverse, make you no go place wey only you na black and nobody the speak English. Unto trc level big cities 6 to 1 year Wroclaw 6 to 8 months decision and 8 month to wait for card. Submission by post can take till the end of days. Small cities 3 to 6 month total process. I believe you apply for trc in the city of your residence, except you live in village. Then you need to go to the city to run it. You need to submit accommodation contract as proof of residence in the city you apply Note: applying by post takes time. I advice to use it when you want to buy Time and when you don't have all documents on ground. I advice you use POLISH lawyer always. You can do by yourself but 1 mistake can cost you. If you need a lawyer I share an Ig account she one of the best |

Good evening guys Is it advisable to go for my masters in Warsaw , Poland? Someone told me there's no job in Poland. |
| Re: Polish Student Visa by Soleye24(m): 11:27pm On Mar 02, 2025 |
zrocky:Thank you so much, you actually did justice to the questions and you have also wet my appetite to be serious about this journey. I actually don't have the skills you mentioned up there but this is an eye opener as I can take them on coursera. I'm doing my MBA at a federal university, in second year second semester and should round up next year April by God's grace but if Visa shows before that time I will move. However, I still have some questions. 1. I studied biochemistry at my undergraduate and graduated 2017 but found myself at banking sector. I'm considering doing MSC biotechnology, do you think it's a good idea or I should put in for a business administration course considering my present working experience? Please note that what I'm considering is a very cheap course. Msc biotechnology is 1300 euros per semester but I don't know for business administration course. 2. Between banking and sciences, which has good prospects there as one needs to be strategic and intentional before moving? 3. Is there language discrimination? Like you will have to be fluent in their language before getting a white collar job 4. You said one can move to another country if one is not okay with Poland. You also said there are some people that have stayed in Poland for 11 years without PR, if it's easy to move to another country, why are they still in Poland or should we say it's a personal decision? Thank you so much, I will be looking forward to your responses. |

zrocky:Thanks. It's a small border town. I checked and application should go to Gorzów Wielkoposki. Any idea how big/small that city is in terms of processing speed? What is the price range lawyers charge? |
| Re: Polish Student Visa by zrocky: 10:38am On Mar 03, 2025 |
memiscme:honestly I don't know anything about that town. Since it is small trc should be fast there. Lawyer charge based on location. Some places 1k some 2k some place 600. |
| Re: Polish Student Visa by zrocky: 10:55am On Mar 03, 2025 |
Soleye24:if the science course has nothing to do with ICT run. Where you Wan carry am work. Business and ict will give you jobs. Even medicine and nursing will not give you job as you must speak polish. So go for business or ict. Because you have a better chance of getting a job. Language discrimination No. This is poland, polish is the official Language, most importantly this is europe so European languages are like French Spanish, Portuguese are high in demand. Most jobs you see has English and one additional European language. So if you speak English, you might have alot of challenges getting a job. Here a trick when you come try to learn polish, e hard but people do learn it. If you can't switch to Portuguese or better Spanish this you can learn and speak well in 6 to 1 year. Multilingual people have a better chance of landing a job and getting higher pay anywhere in the world Finally, coming abroad is stressful. Especially for us who have passport limitations. The cultural shock fit run you mad. Adapting take time. So you need to come in, adapt and then understand the EU system before you start running around europe. You also need have money to leave and get your trc. Most people come here and got to pay debt back home so time counts. With school work and everything you need to take it easy or you might destroy your life. Now get your residency is import this takes time and even when you get it fast you might not even know how to leave. Each European country is different and the struggle is different so it not a so easy decision. Plus you need a job to relocate or you need admission in another country to relocate. When you consider all the stress involved you might not want to take chances. Honestly citizenship is not important it is money that is important. If you stay in poland for 15 year legally and you are working do you know how much you must have saved and invested back home. You can't be poor. If you tire you fit go back nigeria from there move to a better country. Mind you most people living here are in their 20 and early 30s no time to rush things. Life is too short . Too much gra gra person go just die. People die here because of over working . so it's best to come here focus getting settled and making more money and being happy. One day them fit tell you to pack your bag dey go house. No place like home. Nigeria no good but until you live outside nigeria you no go value nigeria. That why you see all people when they get citizenship them go come back nigeria come base. But with the way the world is going focus on growing you career, making money, saving and enjoy your life passport will come when it comes. If e no come you would end up still better than . No stress |

Atturu:there is work oo. The thing your skill. And connection , build your connection. If you no see work go join factory at least you go till pay your bills and save. Only say your body go tell you. Another thing is teaching English. I'll leave a step by step guide for it today. Landing an English job on arrival in poland |

@zrocky Thank you so much for time and advice here. Pls this is my situation... I'm currently in nigeria and I install and maintain solar/inverter systems, I have a trade test certificate and I also have a bachelors degree in chemical engineering. Ice been looking to relocate to Poland through schools before but the visa appointment issues na die. But recently I was introduced to an agent who is helping me secure a work visa. Now this is his plan as he shared with me: that I am going to come in with a visit visa thorough France and then I can come into Poland and change to a work visa. Pls how visible is this plan. My personal plan is to cone to Poland and enroll in a trade school, I believe my trade certificate in nigeria can help me get into one easily. And how good are the trades job paying in poland? Also I'm in my mid 30s and not married? |

Lance008:For now Yes you can work. but i advice you pay your tuition fees for 1 year. also look at the news coming from Poland. an election is being held in Poland this here it might shape things for immigrants for better or worst. this will help you align yourself |
| Re: Polish Student Visa by zrocky: 11:03pm On Mar 03, 2025 |
Elixir2025:Your agent wan scam you. he is after your money run. you can change your visit visa to school not work. you can't go to trade school here, you only go to university. Everthing here is in polish. even if you find a trade school in english which i never see, they won't give you trc. so you either get a job in nigeria with a company directly or you come with the intention to study. by the way your agent is not sincere. whoever they are, they are after you money. Also Eu law is changing, they don't want Immigrants, poland too. so you might not even be able to change from visit to work. lets keep our fingers crossed. |
