madridguy:When they stylishly christianized the whole Nigeria nko. Like you said , they intentionally programmed school calendar to have all school closed during their festive period. They admit the word Rector which is primarily used in Christianity. Academy gown is 100% Christian wear. The cross sign used in hospital. Sunday’s the first day of the week, why’s it not a working day. Shebi sabbath day is Saturday and tat the seven day “God rested” (My God never get tired) Go to many parastatals all over Nigeria, you’ll know that they have stylishly christianized Nigeria These are just few. |

TimeManager:CAN is being delusional, forgetting the fact that we are having two countries within a country called Nigeria. North is a country of his own being run by Northerners with their northern laws. Even Mr President is not oblivious of that fact. It is one of the actual reasons we are not meant to be together. It's a fact staring at our eyes but we only choose to ignore it at our own peril. CAN can only have a say in the South if they really want to have a say in things like that. |

madridguy:It's confirmed that when Muslims are the majority, they count others as nobodies. Even if only one Christian resides in those states, should he be trodden under foot? Would Muslims accept that in predominantly Christian stares? These are the same Muslims who want to be wearing hijabs in known Christian schools for crying out loud. |

slenderBeam1: FOOOL, Nigeria is a secular state, nobody "stylishly christenise" Nigeria. The Gregory calendar, though was adopted by Christian Roman Empire, is a modern and secular calendar and the Islam calendar is archaic. I mean who has the strength to be looking out for moon before you mark the first day of the month when the world is civilised and advanced that you know the number of nanoseconds it takes for the earth to orbit around the sun The word rector has an ambiguous use, it doesn't mean the head of a school is a preist or represent CHRISTIANITY, Christian don't have a designated wear, whatever is not Islamic is seen as CHRISTIANITY to ISLAMISTS. On Friday pupils close early so they could go pray to their black stone in Kaaba. The cross in the hospital shows the sacrifices that Christians made and their contribution to medicines. WHAT HAS ISLAM CONTRIBUTED TO MODERN CIVILIZATION OR WHAT MEDICINE HAS ISLAM CONTRIBUTED TO MODERN HOSPITALS. OR UNA THINK SAY NA CAMEL URINE AND DATES WEY YOUR PROPHET PRESCRIBE FOR UNA NA HIM MODERN HOSPITALS DEY TAKE CURE ALL KIND OF SICKNESS?. ISLAM IS A 7TH CENTURY IDEOLOGY, A MENTAL ILLNESS AS SAID BY THE CHINESE GOVERNMENT. |

madridguy:Your mention doesn't have an iota of sense. Did government design Sundays for Christians? It is a natural holiday for all across the world. Besides, are Muslims not holding Ashalatu gathering or what is it called on Sundays? Yes, Christmas holiday is for Christians just as we have Ileya holiday for Muslims while new year holiday is for all. Try to have some sense 🧏🧏🧏🧏 |

When we were telling CAN that they're gradually islamizing the country, CAN turned their deaf ears but busy with collecting hard earned money of their gullible congregation... ntor!!! Keep on with ur thithe and offering collection... and give Islam like 100 to 120 years, if this nation is not going to be renamed; an Islamic republic of Nigeria! |

If they like let them go for a year, at the end of the day it is the students from other parts of the country that will feel it. STOP THE FRAUD CALLED FEDERAL CHARACTER OR QUOTA SYSTEM. If Nigeria will keep getting worse, you haven't seen anything. Spending billings on religion pilgrimage state budgeting to build worship centers while education is suffering setback. Check serious countries and compare. Soon some people will Nigeria will be great. Greatness without the the right developmental vehicle which is education |

Southern Christians, you all can continue to sit on the fence when it comes to matters that affect your faith. Soon there will be no fence to sit on. I like the way Northern leaders are brazenly expressing their faith. Last last una eyes go clear for South. ![]() |

Some people will always read everything upside down, people are claiming xmas break for students, its according to the academic calender, not because of religion, when other Muslim activities are being held,it also affects everyone which we don't complain cos we also have Easter and others, but closing schools during academic calendar is uncalled for ,if they at least extended it to civil servants,we will know it's a general thing, but its totally wrong making it mandatory for schools, both Christian and Muslim schools to.be closed for a whole 5 weeks |
| Re: CAN Threatens Legal Action Over Ramadan School Closures In Northern States by hotseat: 7:36pm On Mar 03, 2025 |
The major problem with Nigerian Muslims is that of "religious superiority" with the intent of forcing Islam down the throats of others willy-nilly. We have a President, a Muslim, who obviously chose to remain blind, deaf and dumb in the face of these religious contestations in our supposedly secular country. The NASS is mainly interested in lining their pockets and have therefore equally chosen to remain blind, deaf and dumb to these aberrations as well. CAN, like an orphan without an option, is now forced to speak for itself where those whose responsibility it is to call these erring States to order having failed to do so or even shown any sign or willingness to addressing these issue of flagrant display of religious rascality. "One Nigeria" is a mirage! @hotseat |

Why involved private schools? Nigeria is a circular state so religion should not determine government policy. It is because free money comes from Niger Delta floss: |
