I can tell you for a fact that women's football has improved so much over the years, and the quality is only getting better and better.

USA '99 which in my opinion was our best outing at the world cup so far...I could put our performance in Australia '23 side by side, because it was similar to our performance in '99

On both occasions, we were paired alongside the hosts, ( USA in '99 and Australia in 2023) and we were in the toughest group, which we still managed to navigate and qualify, and also almost qualified in the knockout rounds on both occasions.
