Mr. David Shikfu Parradang was born on September the 6th, 1959 in Pankshin Local Government of Plateau State.

Hails from Kanke Local Government of Plateau state, Nigeria. He is a graduate of Sociology from the University of Jos and has a Master's Degree in Public Admin from the University of Lagos.

He served in the Nigerian Immigration service (NIS) from 1982 - 2015 before retiring as the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service. Over the duration of his service, he acquired a rich experience in Migration Management, Border Patrol and ECOWAS Related Issues.

He also served on several committees of the ECOWAS free Movement Protocol and led the NIS to develop a robust training program, producing Manuals and Modules.
He is currently into private business and enjoys reading, Traveling, Playing Golf and Tennis.

Mr. David Parradang is married to Anna Panmun Parradang and they are blessed with children.
