They are cutting the distribution network so it doesn't matter if the drugs come in successfully or not. Besides, they can do both simultaneously. This news is specifically about a vital distribution layer and it is a good development to every normal non-criminal mind.

By the way, what they are doing (concentrating in a particular market, while leaving hundreds or thousands of other markets that may be in the same business) can only yield short time results and earn them praises from shallow-minded people.
A serious agency by now must have identified the manufacturers(probably outside the country) and get them to book through interpol, the importers, the people that permit it's importation and take all of them in to pay for their crimes....not beating about the bushes whereas they know what to do and end this menace once and for all

This move by NAFDAC should be applauded by every patriotic citizen and not finding excuses to justify evil.

No sensible person will justify evil.....the argument is why not use same energy to tackle the obvious root-cause of this macroeconomic problem?
Even if they confiscate 5000 loads of fake drugs from this market, as long as the source and process by which the items arrived the market aren't tackled, it's just a matter of time before status quo will return

So, all the pharmaceutical companies supplying to Onitsha and Idumota markets are all supplying 'fake' drugs, while those at Medplus and Healthplus are all original even though most of their imported UK and US drugs have no NAFDAC numbers.
