Chelsea fans are the problem of the club not finding a good striker. Zinedine Zidane is one of the most overrated footballers of all time. How he actually played vs How he's perceived to play couldn't be further apart. His trophy haul is weàk; 3 league titles, 1 UCL and 0 domestic cups, even while playing for two Real Madrid and Juventus super teams. I'm sorry, but that is not 'GOAT' level.

Zidane was so inconsistent, that Madrid fans back in the day used to joke that he wore the no.5 shirt, because he was half as good for them as he was for France. At Juventus, he once went 8 months without scoring, he was even booed by his own fans. Even Carlo Ancelotti admitted that Zidane had a terrible one year period.

When Del Piero tore his ACL in 1998, Zidane was the focal point of the team. It was his time to shine, instead, Juventus finished 7th, with Zidane managing a disappointing 3 goals and 2 assists as an @ttacking Midfielder.💀

What did he actually do? He wasn't a prolific goal scorer, he wasn't an elite playmaker, and he wasn't a controller of games. He had immense technique and a mesmerizing first touch, but after the fancy control, what happened? This is an @ttacking Midfielder who played between the lines for several super teams and a succession of world class forwards. Yet he isn't particularly effective at hitting a delicate pass in between the lines, nor did he develop a great partnership with any of his forwards. It's cr@zy to me that he only assisted Thierry Henry twice throughout his entire career. He was a no.10 playing with great players, but never truly elevated them.
