I don't see the need. They should just allow him to finish his first term and reject him at the poll for reelection

Impeaching him might cause unrest in Rivers state which is unnecessary

they can't?? this is the kind of supporter that took FUBARA to his grave Politically. If impeach legally 100% nothing will happen. If FUBARA lose guard and allowed himself to be fooled for the second time he will be impeach. FUBARA should follow due process of governernce and forget anything like fighting anyone. He is for everyone

Totally disagree. There is a man on TVC I watched last night BKO or something, saying he doesn't want impeachment, I just shook my head. No one takes pride in impeachment, but it is a necessary guard for any democracy. It is in the constitution for a reason. It is a last resort and even Amaewhule had said so. If Fubara refuses to comply with the laws, there is no other option than to impeach him. He isn't a monarch with a divine right to rule. So you guys should channel your energy to Fubara, and tell him to obey the laws. He is the problem.

There's really no need to go that route.

But there's also no reason to be boastful or issue threats. If the Gov is impeached by the State Assembly, and it has the backing of the FG, heaven will not fall.

Those warlords threatening fire and brimstones now will quickly realign and leave him in the cold.

The gov should not allow himself to be pushed further down the mud.

To be honest with you
Fubara's demolishing of the state House of assembly is an impeachable offence

But if the people of Rivers set up a peace committee Fubara will rebuild it for them
(with his personal money) and the house members should do their best to work with him

A governor that did the below should not only be impeached but flogged in the market square after the impeachment.

1. Attempt to get the National Assembly to take over the legislative functions of Rivers State.
2. Prevent the Rivers Assembly from convening with a constitutionally required quorum.
3. Facilitate the relocation of a factional three-member Assembly to an alternate venue.
4. Withhold Assembly funds and remove the Clerk and Deputy Clerk.
6. Deploy heavy machinery, including bulldozers, to demolish the legislative complex.
7. Restrict lawmakers and Assembly staff from accessing the legislative building.
